Damn, I was being sarcastic.....

Even with some cancelled pre-orders, which would have been a month ago, it would not be affecting orders today...

Amazon probably got an update as to how many PS4 they will receive and made more consoles available.

PS4 kicking ass with 4 SKUs in front of the XBone... Spin that!!!

I see there appearing in the top 100 now 14, 24 and 49 for the bundles and another one at 7 but i think that's just the standard edition that's not guaranteed for launched day.

Be interesting to see if the bundles can make it into the 2013 chart as well

Oh the watchdogs bundle has made it into 2013 chart at 85, lets see how high it rises before they close preorders again.

Like I said above, that would mean that it took PS4 a longer time to sell out than it should have taken. It actually works against people's arguments.


hmm i think im followin you but alsoconfusing myself this morning.  I'm sure some people have cancelled orders tho but its not some large number that people are saying.

Let me put it like this, in order of timing (earliest to latest):

1. E3. MS have messed up. Everyone pre-orders PS4.

2. MS do a 180. 

3. PS4 orders are cancelled in favor of One

4. PS4 sells out on Amazon

If #2 had not happened, PS4 would've sold out even earlier, not later if we go with your and other people's argument. This also means that PS4 did indeed sell out for real, since it sold out after MS's 180.

 

I agree if #2 didnt happen it would have sold out earlier.  and i think thats what happend.  Cancelled orders are already accounted for. When MS did the reversal, some cancelled the ps4 order and it was scooped up by someone else right away. Then the system sold out.  People also may have cancelled after they were sold out and this could be for any reason, including financial. BUT I just dont see it as a significant number.

People that are saying these are canceled preorders PS4.

It these bundles moved up in the best selling for 2013 I will prove that in fact they are new units released for Sony to preorders??? Because cancelled preorders was removed from these numbers.

the watchdog bundle was actually 77 at one point and the battlefield bundle was at 96 i think, but started moving down the 2013 chart once preorders stopped.  

 

expect the BF4 bundle to crack the charts again if units are available through this weekend...

if so it doesn't really matter if you get a ps4 at launch or not.  go to the sony entertainment network store and "buy" all the ps4 ps+ games from there.  once you get a ps4 all the ps+ content will be there waiting for you to download it.

Thanks.  Hope PS4 is up there when it releases.  I hate going on the PS Store for PS3 so unless I'm going to download it right then, I'm going to start using this whenever getting my free games.
