lol if that is the point, then you'de be glad to know that Sony achieveded this already with the PSX and built on it further with the PS2. That took place 17 years ago. So according to you, it's Microsoft that's playing catch up and i don't see how that can be called ahead of someone else!

Yes I am well aware of them having a CD/DVD player. X1 has bluray now. But Im sure you are well aware this is referring to digital services and branding.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

They are.  And it's the right move for them.  Last gen they took a lot for granted arrogantly (seemingly driven by Kutaragi's personality) and lost so much money doing it that some were questioning if there even would BE a PS4 (yes, I was one of them ...).  This time they needed to minimize cost and risks, so they put together one of the most iterative consoles ever.  

That's what happens when profit margins are slim, companies play it safe.  It's what we've complained about so much with large publishers such as EA and Activision, how they were rarely taking risks with new IP and just shoving the same ole down our collective throats over and over.  And now Sony is celebrated for basically doing the same thing when it comes to the PS4.  

Don't you love it how consistent gamers are?

Well, we saw the same kind of comment from dev. developping for the Sony PS4... Did not see you asking them to change the title :)

OP: He is right... And it is even more furstrating to see how Microsoft had to go back 10 years ago and let go a lot of very nice features and plans :(

What thread are you referring to? The ones that mentioned the controller?

Cause I don't remember any Sony developers saying the PS4 is better than the XBO...

Microsoft is trying to expand the video game console space instead of playing it safe like Nintendo and Sony. There are people out there bashing them to hell for it but all you have to do is look at dedicated video game handhelds to see what happens when you completely ignore your competition and play it safe by simply doing what you've always done.
