Forums - Gaming Discussion - Techradar impressed with Xbox One over PS4 after SDCC

In others news...

"I am half asleep from con so bear with me. It was meant to say. Kinnect was there but was not being used. All they did for our demos was hand us a controller and off we went. Some people asked if they were demoing the games on a PC due to the Kinnect not being used, Microsoft said they were not. Ok, so bottom line, we did not get to use the Kinnect, games were good, not great but good. But they need more than fighting games."

Opinions, opinions.

I'm not getting either in the foreseeable future, but if I was it would be for the games. So far the Xbox One has more games that appeal to me. Well, one game, Titan Fall. And I'll be getting it for PC, so no reasons to invest in next gen just yet.

As an impartial PC master race member

They payed people to write this shit? "Kiddie" graphics, really? This guy writes for a tech blog? Whelp another site to add to my ignore list...

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

So firstly, tech radar is a tech website, not a games website. They don't review games! The only thing that they do is test PC components

Secondly, Sony didn't bring Killzone! The lacked their premier launch title and anyway, inFamous SS is the most exciting announced PS4 game

whose this?

for one, he cant spell Kinect.

secondly what was his view of PS4 games?

He said little to nothing about PS4 for now... he is saying the Xbone was crashing and being shotdown everytime for unknown reasons.

"The buzz was that the system [Xbox One] was not complete and had been rushed to its current state in order to attempt to compete with the PlayStation 4 which was receiving overwhelming praise during the convention from ever one that I spoke to."

He seems a Xbone hater but I can't say if he is a liar or not.

One thing I like about the Xbox One is that it is a next gen leap. What I mean is, although the specs are not as good as they could be, Microsoft is trying new things with the Cloud and Kinect being mandatory. It won't have the graphical leap of the PS4 but it will change the way we play games. Sunset Overdrive, Fantasia, and Titanfall look AMAZING.

All the next gen consoles are great and unique in their own way, the PS4 and Wii U, but I feel Microsoft is taking the next step (although they were stalled when forced to reverse their policies).

I am going to own all 3 anyway.

You way of thinking next gen is not true in generic way, because with the could its not possible to play games in offline and also the people with poor connectings which is the most(so you want next gent to be experienced by only who have better internet and its not for everyone, right?). Always online is the thing which most of the people gone against and the reason is not every one like to play online games and not everyone have good internet connections yet in many locations.

Regarding kinect, there isn't any title shown so far from kinect to show its next gen experience for everyone. So, I will say these are not truly a next gen step.

We need to wait for Sony to reveal more about games which I agree but there is gamescome so there will be games from Sony which shows what a next gen is with their games.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
