I don't think £5 is really that much a difference now, not to the point where it would put you off getting the system if some of these games in OPs list really hit the spot for you, hence this thread.


In the United States, a Vita costs $250, a 3DS XL costs $200, and a regular 3DS costs $170.  An SD card is relatively cheap, while PS Vita memory cards are several times more expensive than SD cards holding the same amount of memory.  I may not think he should have said that, but you're using some biased examples.

I'm using Biased examples of what they cost here in the EU from amazon? if they are a different price in bestbuy or so in the states it takes maybe 2 mins to to to their stores site and grab 2 links for the systems to show the difference otherwise it's just what people think the difference is, and it really isn't as much as people think anymore.

 

edit - best buys site is actually god awful and the prices are exactly as you said, 200 for the xl and 250 for the wifi vita sorry for not believing you.

STOP..JUST STOP! my wallet cant handle all of this >< im buying a 3DSXL later this year including some games for both the WiiU and 3DS. also considering renewing my Xbox live subcribtion. Buying a vita is just going to kill mee.... but...but persona 4 :( i wish i had more money.


Vita will sadly have to wait til price drop or something, luckily the 3DS has tons of amazing games also so i should be ok... if only it had persona (which is about the only reason i want a vita)

nice list :D
some games are well deserved on that list. Like Wipeout2048, best graphics I've seen so far on the system.
I definitily need to play Guacamelee and terraria.

You should add Sine Mora and Velocity Ultra HD.

Edit: that batman game looks cool too added to wishlist :D

I'd disagree.  The 3DS and Vita both have good games, but the Vita has more games that are good.  The problem with the Vita is that it shares most of the games with the PS3.  Opinion only, but if you were to compare like titles between 3DS and Vita, the Vita games have been much better quality whether it's graphics or gameplay.

Graphically yes, quality... I'm not so sure.

3DS has much more games with a longer lifespan and that are actaully ment to be played on the go.

Well, for some more objective data...

Looking at retail games only the Vita has 16 games to score above an 80% average critic score.  Of the 16, 5 are exclusive to the Vita. 1 scored above 90% (Persona 4) and is not exclusive.  The 3DS has 22 games to score 80% or above.  Of those, 12 are exclusive to the 3DS.  One game (Re: Revelations) was a timed exclusive for 3DS.  3 games scored above a 90%.  Two of them (Fire Emblem Awakening, Super Mario 3D Land) were exclusives, and one (Ocarina of Time 3D) was non-exclusive. 

Some people are going to be all like "blah blah media is biased blah blah".  To those people, I say if you have a better objective source of information, let me know :)
