Forums - Gaming Discussion - This Is Why You Should Have A PSVita

No DJ Max Technika Tune in this list makes me sad.

Gravity Rush alone is worth having a PSVita. Words can't describe how amazing that game is.

I posted this in the same thread just 3DS, but it deserves a place here too.

This is why you should have [random system.]

*makes a list of games he has and hasn't played.*

Final Fantasy 16, Persona 6, Dragon Warrior 11, etc, could be piece of shit games, but guaranteed when they're announced you'll have people praising them to no end. Once the games are released and then people find out how bad they are, games like Final Fantasy 13, Too Human, etc, that same person either doesn't want to feel anal raped because they paid $40-$60 for the game and keep praising it even though they might hate the game, or they pull an Xbox One.

The point is, you might be hyped for it, but it doesn't mean it's a good game. Not even that, but most of the games that are on these lists are also games that are just widely praised. You still might not have even played it but you praise it because everyone else does. That's why people are in love with so many shitty games. You're in love with the game before you even play it and you're too invested into the game to give your true opinion. You don't want to admit you were wrong.

1. Flip-flop. "Yo. You totally just pulled an Xbox One, bro."

The Xbox One thing is a joke. I'm serious about the rest though.

Problem is I have so many of those games already on PS3. Also KZ, Uncharted, and LBP will seem limited in scope compared to console counterparts. Maybe not LBP because touch opens up level building and if it's connected (which a mobile platform is far less often than a home console) I can play the online levels that are built with that I suppose. The only reasons I have for having one are Tearaway, Batman, Superstardust, and Mutant Blobs. Not that into Gravity Rush I did play some of it in a store and it just didn't do it for me. I don't game that much outside the house so I'm just not a handheld guy and don't want lesser versions of my console games on the go so it's just not for me. Though you do get a lot of free games on Vita through + and maybe if PS4 integration and future titles get me interested I'll be in after a price drop.

Now I can't comment on KZ for obvious reasons but to me UC and LBP actually play better on Vita. LBP Vita is the best one yet because of the reasons you said but I like UC because of the gyroscope and touch controls as well. Swipping a path for Drake to follow on the screen feels better than mashing the X button a million times and using the back touch to climb ropes and ladders actaully feels great (quick time events not so much). Also using the gyroscope to get a more precise aim with a gun helps me alot since I can hardly aim with a PS3 controller let alone the Vita thumb sticks.

The weird thing is even when I'm at home I'd rather play my Vita than PS3, luckily the PS4/Vita combo will rectify this.

You know, the point of these types of threads are to show why it may be worth investing money into a certain system.  Your point makes little sense as it makes the wild assumption that most of the people here are sheep who like what they are told to like.  People can enjoy games you don't like.  That's why these lists usually are supposed to cover most (if not all) bases for gamers.  It's why you wouldn't just put platformers, or just RPG's or FPS games in the list.

Idk about all those multiplats on the list, for the 3DS one I made I only listed exclusives.

Edit: Nvm just remembered the couple Wii U/3DS I put on.

Just looked up a video on this game and it looks so awesome I actually grabbed my Vita to download it... then I saw the price, $45 is pretty steep. But now I must find a cheaper way to play it *___*.

Thats what it was going to be but then I saw my Vita next to me. Couldn't get myself to do it in front of the poor guy...

You would still be doing it wrong. What you would've needed to do is post the OP with nothing in it. Not just three/four games.

Without reading through every comment here (so someone may have already mentioned it), you forgot Rayman Origins, which, thanks to the Vita's gorgeous screen, is probably the sweetest-looking version of the game.

Some of those games look good but I will most likely never purchase one.
