Since I decided to officially leave VGC after over 4 years on the site, I decided to make a countdown of my favorite things in gaming as well as my favorite forum members. Please comment on my lists and feel more than welcome to post your own. I will make more lists throughout the day!

My Top 10 Systems (10-6)

)

#10) PS2: It was a decent system but it only had a few amazing games IMO. I couldn't really get into it which is surprising considering its over-welming amount of games and 3rd party support.

#9) XB 360: My least favorite console of the last-gen but still had its moments. I wish they had used Rare for good instead of evil...(JK)

#8) GameBoy: This little HH made the list exclusively because it brought us Pokemon!

#7) GameCube: The console that brought us both Pikmin & Animal Crossing! It also had Luigi's Mansion. Yet, while those were awesome, I feel that it had some of the worst games in Nintendo's series. Double Dash? Sunshine? Jungle Beat? Gale Of Darkness? Melee? I could go on...

#6) Wii: The system was awesome at the start and I was sure it'd end up as my favorite console ever made. I loved he motion controls and new way to play. Sadly, Nintendo dropped the ball and the system went from a potential #1 down to #6 on my list.

More coming soon!

GameCube only at #7? That's a crime against humanity, if I've ever seen any.

It had really high highs and really low lows for Nintendo. It wasn't consistent enough.

on one hand it introduced Pikmin, AC, and Luigi's Mansion. On the other hand it had the worst 3D Mario, DK, Pokemon, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Paper Mario, and more.

You picked a bad time to lose my respect.

Melee is one of the greatest video games of all time!

My Top 10 Systems (5-2)

#5) PS3: With the PS3 it's kind of weird. I didn't care for it at first but as the gen went on, it got much better. It's funny because my opinion on it kind of is inline with its sales. At 1st Wii was amazing but later it became boring while PS3 eventually got a great line-up of games. Unfortunitley, my PS3 broke and I never got to play some of the later games...

#4) 3DS: Only 2 years on the market and already my favorite HH of all time. After a rough year and a half, Late 2012 & 2013 changed everything. The system has many awesome games now with top dog being New Leaf. Things will hopefully only get better and it won't be my next Wii. Excited for Pokemon for the 1st time in nearly a decade!

#3) Genesis: Admittedly I'm a bit biased with this one. It was the first gaming system I've ever played when I was just a youngster. It's the system that introduced me to gaming with Sonic The Hedgehog, Vectorman, and X-Men. It had a great line-up of games. Back then, I didn't choose my systems because I was so young so I never followed up with Sega after that. Imagine if I had stayed a Sega fan...

#2) PS(1): The PS brings back great memories and was awesome fun. It was such a story-driven system for me. It had all the games that either told a story or was scary as crap. (at the time) I remember not being able to play it when I was alone for the most part because we had the mature games on it. It was the system that had some of my favorite games to date including RE, RE2, RE3, Dino Crisis, MGS and Crash! Also, when you turned it on and hear that sound...they need to bring that back.

Melee wasn't bad at all. It was a pretty fun game and great for multiplayer. Actually, it's probably one of my most played games of all time. It's just compared to SSB64 & Brawl, it's the loser of the bunch. My family and I still play Brawl a lot and go back to the 64 version pretty often but Melee remains untouched. We tried to go back to it, quit after a few matches and played SSB64 instead.

My Favorite System Ever!

N64!

The people who guesses the N64 are correct! While the Genesis was my very 1st system, the N64 was the one that solidified me as an official game-player. It introduced me to Nintendo and its vault of awesome characters and most importantly, it was the most fun I've ever had with gaming! It's easy to forget on here that Videogames are meant to be fun first. The N64 had some of the most creative, pure-fun games including: Mario64, DK64, SB64, Mario Party, Pokemon Stadium, RE2, Yoshi's Story, Paper Mario, Glover, Banjo-Kazooie and many more. Nintendo had put fun first and sadly haven't done that since IMO. 3DS looks to be part 2 though so far!

More countdowns in a bit!

It had the best Mario Kart, Paper Mario, and one of the best 3D Mario's.

I enjoyed the GameCube's take on many of Nintendo's franchises. The only one in that list that I agree with is them messing up DK. How could you mess DK up so badly? It was ridiculous.

Any guesses?

It has to be the Nintendo DS. A worthy console to have the thrown.
