That music in the video clips seems pretty weak, but the stuff in the X trailer seems good. Not quite up to Xenoblade levels yet though.

Hopefully the next trailer will actually show some story material, enough to reassure doubters this isn't an MMO.

The second song is decent IMO, it just wouldn't fit X very much. The first song sounds completely off, though. Japanese trying to sing in German sound even worse than Engrish to me (might just me being German, though. How do you think the German parts sounded like?). The part where it's instruments only actually is pretty close to X.

My absolute biggest complaint with Xenoblade is that sidequests gave experience. It absolutely ruined the game in terms of challenge. It should have been for skills/gold/trophies only. It took until the far reaches of the game for it to actually make me think about what I was doing in battle. Absolutely lovely story though.

I really hope they changed that design or they plan on implementing difficulty levels because I was bored for a long time.
