Actually they have just as good of a chance dropping in numbers as they do gaining. They gained because it was the best looking game at the time and CoD fatigue in some players. It was also plagued with bugs starting off that pushed people away. Then looking at the raw numbers of online players Call of Duty wins.

Call of Duty will continue to sell more than Battlefield. BF has a chance at a small increase or decrease. Either way dont expect much change.

As much as I would really really love for that to happen, it won't. I don't however think Ghosts will outsell B4 by that much. B4 will give it a run for it's money I think.

I think it will outsell CoD on next gen consoles, and PC

But PS360 will probably keep CoD in the lead overall

yeah and GTA V will outsell both

I think there's actually a chance for that. The hype for Ghosts is next to zero whereas BF4 has impressed quite a lot. BF4 also benefits from the power of the new consoles much more than CoD, and it's more varied. I think people will realize that COD is just a name and that BF4 is the better game. But BF4 does need to let snipers one-shot kill with bolt-action sniper rifles, otherwise most of them won't even bother and will stick to CoD.

I suspect they could be even, but I hope that's all due to BF selling like mad and not COD declining.
