So all you have to do to get away with murdering some innocent kid in a hoodie is say you "feel threatened" by him?

This man should have listened to the cop who told him NOT TO FOLLOW the kid, and none of this would have happened in the first place. It isn't exactly self defense when YOU are the one provoking and following your victim...

This kid didn't even have a gun on him. The man did. That should tell you enough right there. How exactly is the man with the gun the one to feel "threatened"?

Man, our justice system is completely fucked...

Something really should be happening to this guy. I doubt he had lethal intent, but it's clear that he needs to learn that guns kill people, and that if it hadn't been a black teenager he killed, he would have gotten in a lot of trouble

Sorry, People should learn not to attack people in FL, you will lose your life, doesn’t matter if kid was only going to beat him up. He had the right and he used it. The fact is this only went this far because the kid was black. Nothing more. This should have never went to trial. The law is clear.

Doesn’t matter the kid didn't have a gun. Zimmerman didn't know that. All Zimmerman did know was he was getting his ass kicked. So he shot. The kid died. Yeah it's sad. It shouldn’t have happened. But it was self-defiance. In this case our justice system work just like it should. Two lives where ruined that day, isn't it enough?

no you have to prove you were acting in self defense, which by definition makes trayvon not an "inncocent kid". nevermind the fact that he wasnt really a kid or that innocent. he was 17, and led the life of a thug gangster.

none of this would have happened if trayvon hadnt attacked zimmerman, breaking his nose and smashing his skull into pavement. but then again assaulting someone is a crime, following someone isnt. oh, wait that proves my point even further.

nevermind the fact that you dont need a gun to kill someone. more people are killed by fists (like the ones martin was using to beat zimmerman with) than by scary "assault rifles" (note: i know he used a pistol). but i guess by your logic, the likes of ted bundy, and jeffrey duhmer arent really murderers.

well yeah, by the mere fact that there even had to be a trial to prove his innocence proves this

If he had been bearing a weapon other than a gun, perhaps Trayvon would have lived and we could have gotten a clearer idea of what actually happened. It must be acknowledged that this death was avoidable in several facets.

That people seem to be pleased with Trayvon's death is equally upsetting.
