From what I've seen, you are mistaken.

Rock Pikmin bounce off instead of clinging to the enemy and are not as powerful nor they can stun the enemy. It brings a fair balance to the game although frankly some enemies seem to have become pushovers.

Agreed! Whites and Purples especially only made for cheap kills. Heck even the captains being able to attack neutered some enemies like the Cannon Beetle Larvae. With all that stuff gone in Pikmin 3 (story mode atleast), along with the return of a day limit, and poison still being an element, Pikmin 3 should definitely be more challenging than Pikmin 2, which is a great thing imo.

Thats not a pikmin

edit: its a bulborb that has pikmin characteristics! But i do believe pikmin and bulborb are related

His poll doesn't make any sense anyway as he's asking which type is the BEST (different from favorite), which means there's a definitive answer so a poll is irrelevant. Plus we can't even answer that question right now since we haven't yet played through Pikmin 3.

Assuming you bring 100 Pikmin to the caves, it is possible to miss Bulbmin entirely. I forgot about them, they were so cute. *_*

They were adorable :) I was pretty disappointed to find you couldn't take them outside the caves.
