Not getting any next gen console until my financial situation improves. And since I am halfway through a 4 year term who knows when that will be.

Will buy when I can, the PS4 will probably win next gen and this is where the games will be

I'm a PS3/Wii/360 owner (also a Wii U/PSP/3DS/Vita owner) and I'm not sure if I'm buying a PS4. Just not remotely impressed by anything i saw up to this point. Maybe a year from now....

I'm not like opposed to buying a PS4, but as of now, I see no reason to buy one. Exclusives don't interest me much. I'll likely buy the XBone or PS4 at some point, but at this point the XBone interests me a bit more due to a couple more exclusives as of now.

Since when do games come 2-3 years after they are announced? I'm pretty sure your wrong on that account.

OT: I probably won't be buying it straight away if that counts, because of lack of launch titles. I'll probably get it when MGS5 releases.

"We still have some way to go" was his comment on a release date. I take back what I said though, I was considering things as they were with the PS3, but a lot of those development problems apparently don't exist anymore, so a year after launch is probably possible.
