Your opening line completly defeats the whole point of your "analysis". Youre playing this game trying not to like it its evident, just like you did with Bioshock (wich btw is a game I didnt like either). Its perfectly okay not to like something mostly everyone else likes its kinda retarded when youre trying as hard as you can not to like it from the get go just for the sake of beeing diferent.

And caling stuf overated is meaningless btw, its rated like ppl generaly perceives it just like every other game/movie and wahtnot, and again you might hate it, that doesnt make the game any less impressive for the majority of other ppl and game critics, it only means you dont like the game.

These days everything is cliche to some people. Sad, because it's really a good story.

People are always complaining about AI. Make your allies visible to the enemy and people will start complaining they lure the enemy. Let them stay behind you, people will complain they don't help.

I hope you are enjoying these games. Because if you don't enjoy games like TLoU or Bioshock inf then I think you are wasting your time and money here and should look for another hobby or at least redefine how you look at games.
