Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Does Nintendo Need To Reprint Or Re-release Xenoblade Chronicles?

What should Nintendo do?

Make more copies of the game on Wii
Re-release a HD version on Wii U
Do nothing
ANYTHING I JUST WANNA PLAY THE GAME!

Honestly this game is number one on my video game wish list, I am kicking myself for not getting this game when it first came out, but it just flew right under my radar.  The thing I don't get is why the hell did Nintendo print so few copies of this game, I understand that it was a new IP and they didn't expect it to sell well, but after it got really high scores, they should have gone back and printed a shit load more copies.  I will say if the story in X continues or is tied into Xenoblade Chronicles then Nintendo needs to reprint it on Wii or re-release a HD version on Wii U, the latter being more likely.  I won't make the same mistake twice, gonna preorder X lol.  So what do you guys think?

You can import this from Europe, mod your Wii, put ocarina codes (no Exp gain ON) it's far better game.

Nah, then the value of my copy will go down.....

Tweaked Xenoblade in HD for WiiU is my personal dream, of course the X is probably spiritual successor, it was originally known as Monado: Beginning of the World and for good reason.

I havent played the game cause its so hard to find. But i would love for them to release it on the Wii U in HD, at least for digital download.

HD version via E-shop for the Wii-U (or whatever the equivalent of E-shop is for the WiiU).

Nope. They should stick with doing what they are doing now. Maybe even print less copies of games so we can feel like we are investing in futures rather than buying video games.

Serious answer: Yes they should handle printing and supply chain better.

Game Of The Month

better yet...release the game (HD or not) as a downloadable/physical copy bonus for when X comes out!!! They could package it with the first and second print of the game. Now that would be marketing a game done right!!! Speaking of which they could do the same for Bayo2 and package the original version (which will cost almost Platinum or Nintendo nothing on the eShop) for those who buy Bayo2 on release date or close to it. Then they could sell the game to those who missed out on the first printing of Bayo2 out on the eShop for $15-20 as a downloadble!!! C'mon somebody needs to bring this up to Kamiya and Nintendo's marketing team!!!

...What?  Why would you want every game Nintendo makes to be hard to find and skyrocket to $250 less than a year after its released...If you want to invest you might wanna try gold, art or the stockmarket, get that out of video games.
