Unless they're a dedicated publication like the Official Nintendo Magazine, publications like Edge shouldn't be one-sided. Of course, Edge has never been very fair or impartial.

Have they shown obvious bias to one console maker?  I seem to remember them being harsh to basically everyone.  And Edge has given Sony games some of the lowest scores Sony games receive.

I think it's ok for the media to express discontent if they feel something is wrong.  It's ok to call a spade a spade, even if some people want to say it's a diamond.

Exactly, when has edge ever shown favoritism to xbox? Prior to this they were known for being harsh to everyone. Someone needs to bring up some concrete examples of edge showing blatant favoritism to xbox.

I have no problem with Edge calling MS out.... frankly, they deserve it. But that is not what they are doing here. They are showering praise on everything sony does, just because MS is screwing up doesn't mean that everything sony does is automatically good. There is a lot of stuff sony has done very recently that would have probably received a lot more scrutiny if it wasn't for MS screw ups.

Changing their policy on online multiplayer, failure to support the vita, games still running at 30 fps and lower, the fact that their e3 show was actually pretty weak without the MS attack, etc.

Does anyone still take Edge seriously ?

Frankly.... Edge is a basket of fanboys. Never saw a so-called "videogame magazine" with such low, limited content, that stills try to convince everyone that it has a "professional" image.

Obviously they will support a console by gamers, for gamers.

Whats the problem?

You watch it! they'll end up low balling all of the ps4 games in the reviews! this is just a way to distract people!

I gotta game informer a few months back with Mario on the cover.....They must be Nintendo fanboys!!!

This seems a bit too extreme.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

so they should attack Sony for doing something that MS has been doing for 10 years? Vita gets tons of support, but they are mostly indie games and japanese games. not big AAA western games, which are coming soon with killzone and tear away. games still running at 30 FPS? so? that was the standard for years now. and its not like its a standard on xbox one, arguebly the best looking game ryse, runs at 30 FPS with drops.

their E3 show showed tons of new games, FF15, KH3, mad max, the order 1886 and 7 other indie games, it also showed actual gameplay of games like destiny more gameplay for watch dogs and assassins creed. and it gave updates on the games they announced back in february back when they announced the console, killzone, infamous, knack, drive club and they showed. they also gave out the number of games they will publish in the first year which are 20, 5 more than microsoft, just because microsoft blew their load early and showed a lot of trailers with very little information about the game and sony didnt doesnt mean that their E3 should be bashed hard like you suggest. Sony also won on price, having considerably stronger hardware and being 100$ cheaper isnt something to scoff at

MS has been charging for online from the beginning and sony fans have always bragged about free online, now all of a sudden free online is no big deal? right... Your opinion about e3 is subjective but they received fewer best of e3 awards than ms and general consensus was that the stuff they did show was subpar with a show that lacked excitement up until the ms attack. Many journalists admit to giving sony e3 based solely on the ms attack and nothing more.
