People always get so excited about which show or event devs might announce their new games at. Too often though, games will get announced at these things without the devs actually having anything interesting to show or say. That's the only thing I really care about....that people make their announcements when they're actually ready.

Sony need something big at GDC, so I would announce it there and hold SCE Santa Monica's announcement back.

I feel the only reason that it wasn't announced at E3 was because they didn't want to distract from the Last of Us. I guess there is still DLC to come, but they have sold enough copies that they can announce their next game surely!

I could argue when and why should they announce their new game, but it is pointless, since I'm pretty sure it will be announced on VGA just like Uncharted 2, 3 and TLoU were.
If it wasn't for ND games noone would watch the VGA's, so yeah, it will be there. The gaming Pope already traded some Doritos and Mountain Dew for it.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
