This is the reason why if I had to choose between the Xbox One and PS4 o choose PS4.

Because a game his good, coming out at the end of the console's life cycle make's me feel like Sony is more committed to the game's than Microsoft.

Best game of 2013 so far.

I know Sony will do right by me when it comes to games. I am surprised at how well the lat of us is selling to be honest. With the been said people really are on a post apocalyptic fetish as of late.

if we take into account shipped numbers, sony announced 3.7 million for uncharted 3 and now 3.4 million for the last of us, but I am unsure about the time differences they were reported according to their respective launches.

Impressive.

 It really can reach 7 million and became the third best seller exclusive franchise in the HD consoles... just behind GT and Halo... for a new IP is a crazy accomplishment.

To make myself clear, I'm not downplaying the game, just putting a little perspective to the topic and waiting for someone who can confirmed the figures I mentioned. I'm surprise at the numbers especially if we take into consideration that it is summer and developers usually tend to avoid summer releases. Besides the last game that sell well in the summer was metal gear solid 4 and that's a huge IP.
