Note: this is a very serious thread so please no trolling or making jokes.

For those who are not familiar with "Bacha Bazi" it means "Playing With Boys" or "Boy Play". In which prepubescent and adolescent boys are sold to wealthy or powerful men for entertainment and sexual activities. This business thrives in Afghanistan, where many men keep them as status symbols. Some of the individuals involved report being forced into sex. The authorities are barely attempting to crack down on the practice but many doubt it would be effective since many of the men are powerful and well-armed former commanders.

I trust no one, not even myself.

I have been hearing about it makes me sad. Thought that video it reminds me of geisha.

It's another reason why I think it best to keep religion and government separate.

I am sad for the loss of innovation, all gaming and gamers mourn the pushing back of the future to another time.  The ice cream may be melting.  E3 Save us all!

There isn't a shred of good coming out of bush 'obamas wars. Check their prison populations. Check their court systems. Look at the torture of suspects. There is nothing defendable about that government system. Everyone died for nothing.

Well, places like Afghanistan will never change. No matter what we do there. Violence has persisted for the last Decade plus in Afghanistan with US troops and whoever else. They will still be poor, and still want to live how they are living. No rights for females, or anyone else it seems. There is no infrastructure, rivers are used as toilets, kids beg US soldiers for food as they starve because we are only allowed to give away so much. Very bad situation. There is no way to change it. I would sneak food just to make them happy and able to eat.

Their police and soldiers are paid so little that it is nearly impossible to keep any sort of trained force in that country. almost the same for Iraq, but they have infastructure and are a little better off. Plus, oil always helps. Maybe another Decade of Western Presence in that country will do something. But I doubt it.
