Console or HH Gaming?
Simple question, do you spend more time playing on consoles or HH's? (Phones / Tablets count in this thread) (My answer below for those who care)
I used to like console gaming much more than HH gaming. I felt that HH's were pretty under-powered, had small screens, and had only single-player games. Yet, I've had the GB, GBA, DS, and PSP. Back in 2010, I decided that I would no longer support HH's and only play console games for the next-generation. Then...I got the 3DS anyway. I was significantly under-whelmed and felt that it had no interesting games, was boring, and a waste of my money. I only bought one for its future line-up that was promised to be coming by Nintendo. I was very disappointed. Flash forward, and today, I mainly play on my 3DSXL. (Got it last week!) So far, I've only tried Animal Crossing: New Leaf on it but so far its been great. (I will likely do a seperate XL thread later) Anyway, if all things go as I see it, 3DS will be my primary system for Gen8. I now think I like HH's more due to them being advanced enough now to handle online, and better graphics & controls. They are convenient, quiet, portable, and don't hog up a TV. I also use my iPad to play simple (yet fun) games with family and friends.
