Ratchet & Clank on PS4? 

for me its R&C: Tools of Destruction

All except for FFA, the PSP versions, and A4O.

Tools of Destruction for me, Its closely followed by A Crack in Time

I've played Deadlocked, Size Matters, Secret Agent Clank, Tools of Destruction, and A Crack In Time. I would say Size Matters and Deadlocked are my favourite out of those.

What's wrong with those games?

Definitely between ACiT and UYA for me. UYA wins on nostalgia since it WAS my 6th gen. I think I played through it 10 times before HD came out then 3 more. ACiT was just super solid and my favorite 7th gen game period. Q4B had great value and I loved all the platforming and lighthearted pirate story. That's probably my favorite downloadable game ever. God this series was just unrivaled before A4O. What the hell happened Insomniac?

A crack in time is probably insomniac's finest game ever

First of all you didn't play the PS2 games but I could excuse that.  How the hell do you put the PSP game ahead of ACiT.  Deadlocked was OK with a partner but it was literally all arena battles and that definitely took the space adventure vibe out of it.  I liked it but ACiT was every Ratchet fans wetdream.  It literally was everything you could ask for.  Just the right customization, upgrading, exploration, and combat/platforming balance.  Tools of Destruction was my first taste of next gen and damn I was not disappointed.  It was awesome to see a studio chop out MP after tacking it on (the only time I think I've ever seen a studio do that when they made both games) and focus on SP again.  It was a great return to form.  

They should have stopped at 3 on PS3 and started work on a PS4 Ratchet at launch like ACiT that could blow our minds and conclude the story.  Instead they've exhausted the franchise and lost many followers by having a second rate team make tower defense and move games.  They sold less than ACiT and will hurt any future good games.  Unfortunate but true.
