220 posts in a thread about the fact that the PS4 controller cant turn its light off ? when its used to say which player is player number1/2/3/4 and so on? seriously?

You got all upset because I said it was a blatant annoyance, the useless part you're clinging onto because you have nothing to come back with regards to the original point.  Rather than argue my original point you went on a tangent, hence my returning your straw man bullshit.

If you can't see how a large light reflecting off surfaces will be a annoyance then you must be blind.  Infer I'm in some way foolish again and I'll report you for trolling because frankly that's what you're doing.

It was basically over but then you stealth editted this comment to add more to it. This comment orignally only said "yawn" lol. So you want more?

 

And i'm pretty sure you already pretty much reported me. I wont say anything about "foolishness" because i'm now not permitted to anymore and will be moderated but you are still allowed to tell me to "enjoy my ignorance" so you don't have to worry ;). 

 

I made a harmless comment asking "and why will it "blatantly" be an annoyance?"(you took that as being "upset" lol) and you replied with --> "You think a USELESS light thats always on is not an annoyance, ok...."

I'm pretty sure the light bar tells you which player you are (player 1, player 2, etc.). It also lets you know that the controller is on. Those are 2 uses. FACT!

And I needed a 3 inch bar of light on the back of the controller to tell me that?  No, thats a fact.

I wouldn't bother with him. It's not like he's gonna buy a PS4 anyway.

 

I've already said I wouldn't buy one at launch, just like my PS3 which I bought 18 months after launch.  My original post was perfectly fair until some decided to try and bait me.  As usual on this site the Sony fans gets away with a tap on the wrist while starting the trouble then those they antagonize get banned.

Not sure why everyone STILL seems to not realise the light ABSOLUTLY CAN be turned off. It can be done so by devs. In any game the devs can give you an option to turn it off. So said Yoshida. /thread

Dualshock 4's LED light is going to shine on the tv causing glare.  If I rage quit, I'm blaming it on the controller.

Again, the PS4 uses four tiny LEDs for the light bar, just like the Dualshock 3, Xbox 360 controller, and one less than the 5 in the Wii U pro controller. LEDs use up almost nothing, even if they are all on at once. It's rumble and bluetooth that kill the battery. The reason the Wii U pro controller's battery life is so incredible is because it only uses 1 rumble motor instead of the two found in the DualShock 3 or Xbox 360 controller.

That's kinda too bad. I doubt they are too much of a battery drain. But the bright light could be annoying. Just depends how bring they are. The ones on the 360 are tiny, tiny, like sneeze and you will lose them tiny. The Wii has little LED's too, that you can't turn off.

The flashlight on my phone can blind people (temporally), but no way they would be that bright. Just depends how bright they are, but still something they should think about as it could make the customers happy.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
