I played the 1st two gens. Blue->Yellow->Silver. Dabbled in Gold and Crystal. ABSOLUTELY HATED Sapphire and Ruby. Disappointed by Leaf Green. Never came back and just my opinion from the outside looking in, the newer games keep looking worse and worse. Silver remake looked interesting though.

Was a big fan during gen 1. Had Blue and watched every episode of the tv series. Had some books (related to the game; guides and stuff) and a million of those trading cards. I grew out of it however, and wasn't interested in Pokémon anymore after that.

Played Gen 1, won't be getting Gen 6.

A friend of mine remains a huge fan however, he's played everything since either Gen 2 or 3 and he'll be camping out at the store for X/Y for sure.

I might when I go to France. Actually, I just remembered that it's region locked, so I guess I'll have to get it in NA.

How can i help convince you to get it Its really looking good+ you get to experience alot since you skipped 4th+5th gen!

Played yellow for sometime but the cartridge was from a friend, so I never finished it. Then last year I got an XPeria Play and started Ruby just to see what was what. Loved it and play it whenever I'm waiting on a line (I'm on a 1200 winning streak on lv 100 battle tower and have no plans of stopping). But I wont buy the new ones unless my son wants any of it for his 3DS.
