So... Sony will actually pay Microsoft $2-3 per Blu-ray drive?

He also thinks DriveClub will be free with PS Plus because Sony think it won't sell much (hello?? Motorstorm?). He fails to mention that the game is actually not the full version.

And: "My predictions aren't really predictions because I don't give a damn"

Microsoft and Sony are both using the same Blu-Ray drive, which is a Sony unit.  So yes, Microsoft is going to be paying a lot to Sony per Blu-Ray drive. 

O.o? Is that true, or are you being sarcastic? 

I'm fairly certain.  Can't find anyone else that makes a slot-load Blu-Ray Drive.  I thought it might have been Pioneer, but Pioneer no longer makes slot-loading drives.  They're also both 6X CAV drives.

he is the only guy who can unmask disguised fanboys and he exactly knows what to say to get the attention he wants

 

but i think Sony will get billions from microsoft.(according to microsoft) "1 billion people may buy next gen consoles"

I think Patcher is hilarious honestly. I will say this though. Yes people do get mad at what he says since he takes shots at their favorite consoles, but the things he says are really why. Read how arrogant he sounds "I'm this much percent right" oh please just shut it. The console companies would wipe the floor with his behind if they really wanted to prove Parappa the Pachter wrong. lol

Most analysis has shown that Pachter is right roughly half the time.
Of corse, we only know of his formal, public predictions. We do not know of what he tells his clients.
