1 was fantastic, 2 was good and 3 was meh. The other 2 couldn't interest me any less.

I've only played 1 & 2, but I've seen my gf play through the whole of 3. I think 2 is the better game and 3 the worst. The first Fable had the best story and villain by a mile, but that's about it. All the games are too easy and there's something missing in all of them; this series could have been much better.
Fable 2 > Fable 1 >> Fable 3

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Fable, the original, seemed like you could just have fun without many restraints, so Fable is my answer.
Fable 2, remember the hype it got here before its release, was a big deal back then!!
Hopefully they can get it back on track.
2 all the way.
More open world, gorgeous graphics, and more gameplay. Even the little things like buying property and raising a family.
Fable 2 is my Favorite. But there are other aspects of Fable: TLC and Fable 3 that I enjoyed. I liked the more rpg elements of Fable:TLC. Fable 3 had the best story imo along with the the best voice actors and humor. Hopefully Fable 4 has more on the rpg side, continues the humor, brings more unique magic, great story, and a worthy boss battle.
Fable 1 is the best and fuck Fable 3.

I got Fable 3 for nothing and enjoyed it loads despite everyone saying "It's not as good as 2".
Would I enjoy Fable 2 now I've finished 3?
Too much planning, and you'll never get anything done.
Karl Pilkington.
Fable 1, but Fable 2 was pretty damn close.
Fable 3 was a train wreck. See the Angry Joe reviews lol
It's just that simple.
