With the upcoming Fable Anniversary I feel it's time to vote for Vgchartz favorite Fable game.

I loved all the mainline Fable games and even enjoyed The Journey though flawed. I'd say my favorite was 2.

I haven't played Journey but intend too.

My favourite game was Fable: The Lost Chapters (Fable 1 plus extension for those among us who are uninitiated).

This is not meant to detract from Fable 2 or 3 in any way, as both are fantastic and among my favourite games. I just cannot get over the feeling when I first played through the original game. It was such a fresh experience. I loved the Guild/quest card set up, simply amazing.

I suspect you mentioned Halo by accident

Fable 2, it has more replay value than the others for me. Plus I just loved the humor and environments in that one the most.

Lol yeah every thread I go into started by non Xbox fans they list 3 series so i guess I was used to seeing them together.

I love Fable the Journey.

Fable TLC is my favorite, I've played through the game a dozen times already. I loved Fable 2 and 3 as well, but it seems like the series is getting progressively worse with each installment. I'm looking forward to the TLC Anniversary, but I'm also a little disappointed it wont have any new content.

The only problem I had was it's linearity, other than that I loved the Graphics, music, and the storyline and how it tied into the other Fables.

Its hardly on my list of best rpgs but fable 3 was the one i enjoyed the most, though it did feel rushed and not very fleshed out. Fable 2 drove me crazy with the loading times and lack of direction. Fable 1 bored me so much in the first minutes and annoyed me with the camera so i sold it without playing more than an hour. We'll see how the hd remake is. Might give it another chance.

I'd say Fable 2 is my favorite. I feel like it's in a happy medium spot; the first game has the best story, but the worst mechanics. The third has maybe the best mechanics (combat mechanics, anyway), but the worst story. Fable 2 has good mechanics and a good story, and thus in my opinion the best all-around experience.

I played Fable 3 for an hour and thought the game was terrible. That is the only Fable game I've played.
