Actually, he is right, most ppl fail to see it(especially nintendo fans), but almost nobody interested in wii u right now(i am, btw), if you compare to x1-ps4, it would be like 2/10 for wii u, 3/10 for x1, 5/10 for ps4, and there isn't much nintendo can do to change situation, practically nothing, price cut - games would only help stay alive, it won't turn wii u into success

He is 100% correct in his arguments though the remark ''why would anyone'' does not make sense since people interested in mainly Nintendo's own titles would still buy it.

Which is why he qualified his statement with just that reasoning. Except that the source excised that part of the explanation so they could put it in the headline.

Well, it all depends on how the PS4 and XboxOne will perform in their first year, after all, we are judging the new Nintendo console in this time period...

Amen. Granted, "mynintendonews" isn't exactly the height of journalistic standards, but the article is a joke. The article IT quotes is barely any better, though the fact it's a local TV station probably explains that.
