Meh, the most recognizable launch/launch window titles will be available on PS3 (and PC) as well. I'm pretty sure that people would rather get the PS3 versions while waiting for the ~$400 price tag to drop. And power will forever be irrelevant outside of fanboy wars thanks to the PC.

This will be fun indeed. Bookmarked.

Wii U sales started going backward recently, so I'd say by around October 15, 2013.

Except many of those games are cross-gen multiplats.

Wii U sales will explode with the release of Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D World, Wii Fit U, and Wii Party U. So I expect Wii U to outpace PS4 for 2-3 years and actually increase the WiiU-PS4 gap (in comparision to whatever number it is when PS4 releases).

However I think Wii U, like Wii, will die out a bit early. I also think PS4 will outsell the One by a hefty margin, and sales between the two platforms won't be 1:1 like this gen. With that in mind, I think PS4 will top Wii U sales when they reach about 65-70 million units.

So maybe in 4-6 years? (2017-2019)

So that would mean that after 2019, PS4 could top WiiU again then? LOL!

Nintendo doesn't need to be the only publisher which supports the Wii for it to take off. If the casual audience is large again, and Ubisoft makes more games like Just Dance, Wii U sales could really explode.

So, if Wii U sales continues in this way, PS4 will outsell Wii U until 2015 (I think that PS4 will have slow sales on it's 1º year on the market), but if Wii U sales get better with more games and a price cut, probably it won't be outsell
