The Swapper is an Indie game that was made by Facepalm Games.  It is being compared to a mix of Metroid and Portal and it looks beyond amazing and also one of the best rated games of this year. Hopefully it will make it to the  X360/PS3 but I am really hoping it will be able to make it to the X1/PS4 as well. Right now it is PC only with no other version on the horizon.

impressive actually. I think ill try this game out, seems like my sort of game (any game with metroid vibe is instant buy lol)

And the most imaginative moments often have a sting to them, cropping up whenever you need to do yourselves in to reclaim bodies for further use elsewhere. Few puzzle games have as dark a heart as this one, in fact: you'll learn to murder your clones again and again and do it with barely a thought as bodies tumble from the sky and crumple, while others are left behind and exploded as you shut the door on them. The intrinsic bone-chill of The Swapper ultimately comes from the things it does in your own mind - the way it encourages you to see yourself as a disposable resource, the way it pushes you towards a thousand casual betrayals where individual vessels are sacrificed.

I put it in my Steam wishlist for when I feel like playing on pc again. It would have been an instant buy on psn, but as I'm too lazy to drag the pc over and my backlog is a mile long anyway, it will have to wait. Looks great though.

most pc indie games get no attention here. same for something like gunpoint.

Metroid... Portal? Sounds pretty interesting actually. Hopefully it can be ported to consoles.
