Ike needs to be nerfed? What game have you been playing. Ike is an average character at best.

        His sword  spamming is annoying.

Ike is low to mid tier, he definitely doesn't need nerfed.  He's a weak character.

He has a long range though. Just like Meta Knight. Maybe he is not that bad. I still want Chrom.

Ike is so slow, it's physically impossible for him to be "spamming".

That's why you use him online, where the lag makes it impossible for anyone to avoid an attack that begun half an hour ago.

I can't take this thread seriously. I'm reading nonsense.

And @OP Awakening isn't the best selling Fire Emblem. That title goes to Blazing Swords, which in my opinion is the indisputable best Fire Emblem ever. Elliwood or Hector deserves way better the spot of Ike.

Ever heard of digital sales? That makes your whole comment invalid. Have a nice day, sir.

You know what makes your comment invalid? There's not a single reference of Awakening having sold past the one million. Not even by official word of Nintendo. Check facts before wishing nice days to people. EDIT: Ever heard of overtracking?

And my friend, you've got it wrong. Lucas is a different character than Ness. Ike is second tier, he's not overpowered by any means. (I mean, Marth is way better, and I don't see you complaining). Young/ Toon Link being the same as Link? Please. What game have you been playing, my man!

Yes they are. Tell me 5 differences between Toon Link/ Young Link and Link. LEGIT differences. Regarding Fire Emblem, the game sold at least 100k digital and I am pretty sure can't be THAT overtracked in physical sales.

Toon Link is miles better than regular link.  While they have essentially the same arsenal, their playstyles are completely different.

Yes they are. Tell me 5 differneces between Toon Link/ Young Link and Link. LEGIT differences. Regarding Fire Emblem, the game sold 250k in digital sales  and that was a few months ago. I am pretty sure FE: Awakening sold at least 750k so far ( physical), so 750k plus 250k= 1 million

I don't want to get caught on this, but I'm telling you the same: there's no official word about Awakening being the "best game in the series sales-wise" or having it cracked a million. Check it up. Do you think Nintendo wouldn't have posted the official numbers if that were the case? Overtracked.

I see you ignored the Ness / Lucas example. / Ike. So okay, here goes:

· Better aerial combat.

· Can wall jump, if I'm not mistaken, Link can't.

· Worse smash down, but faster.

· Different torbellin.

· Different boomerang.

· Less range with the hook, but fairly more powerful if grabbed.

· Bombs are less powerful than Link's.

· Arrows gain more range even when less charged than Link.

· Link's special is stronger, but he fails against any other Toon Link Smash (Except for Smash down).

· Toon Link can't Boost smashing. Link can.

· Toon Link is easier to KO but faster than Link, and jump/reach higger than adult Link.

· LINK HAS A GOD AWFUL RECOVERY. Toon Link's is WAY BETTER.

         Almost the same moves though.

1.) Vast differences in the knockback of the first strike of the F-Smash

2.) TL can D-air multiple times in a row, AL only once

3.) TL's arrow is slower and does less damage/knockback than AL's. YL uses fire arrows, should be able to set off explosives (too long since I last played Melee. not sure)

4.)TL/YL are faster, can jump higher and fall down slower than AL. YL/TL can do wall-jumps, AL can't. Can sustain WAY less damage than AL

5.) Different behaviour of the bombs

I'm pretty sure I missed a TON of differences here, but all these result in TL/YL not being comparable to AL at all.

Yeah, his spamming is really only good for either A) online play  (or) B) teams.  His range is not that big of an issue considering his other weaknesses.

true, but his playstyle is extremely different.  Realistically, if you main Link (reg) and think your just gonna pick up TL and do well, your grossly mistaken.

I am talking moveset wise. Most of what you mentioned is about speed, power which I mentioned that Young Link/ Toon Link are faster, weaker  and smaller than normal Link.

Honestly, even if you don't play them regularily - they feel completely different.
