Still waiting to see the long-term response from the Brotherhood. The terms upon which the new elections are founded are going to be critical, especially if polls indicate the Brotherhood getting a plurality of the vote (doubt they could clinch a majority anymore due to loss of support, but they'll likely be the biggest single game in town for the next decade at least)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Really best case scenario would probably be if the military drafted a consitution that prevents the broterhood from doing what they did this time.

Well... some religions are less intrusive than others.

America is pretty awesome and still has a lot of freedoms. That is why people come here in droves.

I'm more worried about liberals running my country. I don't much care for socialism.

The american definition of liberal maked me cringe every time I hear it being used.

Liberal = believing in liberalism, IE individual liberties. NOT the power of the state or socialism or anything like that.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I'm still at a loss on how society thinks their can be a bloodless revolution, it's a complete oxymoron.

You cannot take power from someone until they submit to your will and when dealing with countries and political beliefs your are never going to get them to submit to your will until you start killing each other and force your enemy to yield.

This whole concept that you can take people who are so far apart on their beliefs and put them into voting booths and have them walk away and say "well maybe next time" it is absurd.

I hope that the military will create a secularist liberal democracy, but I have my doubts.

The military drafting the constitution is exactly what got them into this mess.  The ppl wanted morsi out because he let the military write legislature and give themselves veto power over future legislation.  The ppl want their military under civilian authority.

Apparently 51 people killed when gunmen opened fire on Muslim brotherhood protestors.

That's pretty huge whoever did it. Can it really have been the military or police forces who did such a violent thing?

Anyone who has found some footage of it please post.
