Yeah, half of their IP's never get new installments.

Not true. What about Punch-Out and Kid Icarus? Those were ressurrected from the depths of Nintendo history. Also, I do agree that they need to have more 1st party studios, so they could release lower-selling games alongside the high-selling ones. Right now, they release the high-selling games first and some of the low-sellers at the end of the generation, and that's not exactly a good thing.

What about F-Zero, Starfox, wave race, 1080p snowboarding, and Metroid? You showed exceptions, but generally Nintendo ignores some great franchises.

yes, they need more.
I'm surprised at how good some of the games are when they don't have many devs/employees.
I mean, look at the upcoming Legend of Zelda, it has about 500 devs working on it and that's the BIGGEST dev team they ever had working on a single game, while games like Assassin's Creed have thousands of devs working on one game, imagine if Nintendo had a lot more devs, their already great games would be even better and there would be room for devs to work on franchises like F-Zero and Starfox and other great Nintendo franchises that have been dead for a while.

...and you have the nerve to ask for a sequel?!

Maybe not "need", but any additional first party studios would be a plus. They would need to prove their worth first.

There have been 3 main series Mario games, 3 Zeldas, and 4 Metroid's in the last 2 gens. With Metroid, that's not ignoring a franchise, that's over-producing an overrated franchise.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I think they made foolish decisions on what titles to make for the Wii U. They have plenty of IP's to attract all sorts of customers with, but they picked Mario and Donkey Kong.

They should have gone with Zelda, Metroid, or F-Zero.

I believe that they have to open a few more studios or at least increase the amount of projects the studios they currently have are working on (by hiring more developers).
