I am seriously confused here, Arkyham Asylum for 5 bucks, Mortal Kombat 5 bucks, RC Collection 7.50, SOC 5, Hitman trilogy 16, POP classics 8 bucks. Those are some pretty damn good deals certainly cheaper than most people are likely to find them elsewhere. 

These are great deals for people who do not have those games.

I guess I'm used to good deals on PC with Steam. The thing is, all those deals suck without PS+ and with PS+, some of them are what you'd expect (the games you mentioned, for example, and they happen to be pretty old games already). On PC, I get those PS+ level prices or better on Steam and not just once or twice a year. It really makes me think about my console purchases, especially considering there's no backwards compatiblity. I might just buy something, though, when the PAL Store sale gets announced and if there's any good deals.

Of course if you're a Plus subscriber, you're likely to find better prices than elsewhere and it might be a good idea to grab whatever interests you. But if you're not... Well, nothing to see here for the most part!

PSN has pretty good sales on games all the time, I would not call them steam prices but very solid deals.

yes, that would work (any game/item you pay any money for, even if it's dicounted for ps+ users, is yours to keep), but PS+ subs are only 3 or 12 month and the 3 month sub afaik is $18

I'll probably get the Ratchet and Clank collection.
