What is the difference between decent gaming pc and mid range pc?

If we merge them together they'll cost anywhere from $600 to $800. High end pc could be anywhere from $1000 to infinity but am sure you can get a really good one for $1500.

well thanks...my budget's about $2000 to $2500 so i guess i shouldn't have any issues in getting an high-end pc.

For $1500 - $2000 dollars you can make a great PC. Absolutely fantastic actually. For $1000 you can make a good PC as well. Just go to newegg.com and its so easy and less expensive than you might think.

Honestly if your willing to settle with Medium/High details (next gen console specs) at 1080p resolution on the latest games $800 can buy you a pretty decent rig as well and Ive even seen $600 PCs capable of the same. It all depends on what kind of deals you get.

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

With this budget you are into the < 1% of PC gamers... you are over high-end... enthusiast pc.

I can build easly a PC with SLI 2x GTX 780 or way more than that with $2500.

With that much money at least get one of those brand name 1440p 27" monitors around 600$. And some nice speakers and peripherals. It's way too much for just a PC box IMO. So many better ways to spend money.
