For me, the most IP that I enjoyed was between Mass Effect and Uncharted. The biggest surprise was the first Bioshock game. I didn't expect it to be that good! At that time everyone was talking about Halo 3 and (almost) no one mentioned this game!

Uncharted, in terms of critical acclaim. Followed closely by Bioshock. Last of Us is just one game but it should get third over any other, Mass Effect be damned. Red Dead is not a new IP. Sales wise AC beats them all of course.

Mass effect, easily. I have probably spent the same amount of time playing those three games as the other 80 or so games i bought this last gen combined.

Too hard to say.

Gears for best multiplayer.

Best overall story for a franchise i'd give to Mass Effect

best characters id give to Uncharted or the last of Us.

best storyline and best voice acting I would say The Last of Us

So it comes down to your preferences as they are all amazing in different ways.

There was Red Dead on PS2.
