I get about 15-20Mbps download, 1Mbps upload and 15ms ping. It's good enough that I generally don't really have to wait for much to load and can stream decent quality 1080p without issue.

It's what I would call 'good enough' for me at the moment, but the government is rolling out minimum 100Mbps (allegedly) to most of the country within the few years.

Whether your internet is good enough for you is really up to how and how much you use it but it is comparitively slow.

Here's what I get:

It's a 13EUR/month unlimited data cable connection.

As you can see it's awesome considering where I live and what I pay for it. And it's declared as 12/1.25 Mbps, so I pretty much get what it says.

I currently have pretty much the cheapest high speed internet money can buy in Canada ($29.99 per month - 300 GB monthly cap)

Its supposed to be 15 down/1 up...close enough.

At first I was worried when I moved and cancelled my 25 down, 10 up unlimited. But I really didn't notice much of a difference for most things (uploading  songs to Google music was painful though). I also love having extra 50 bucks per month in my pocket :)

I used to have 3mb and it was good for me. I had about 6 devices connected on wifi and i would game online at the same time and no lag. Now i have 30mb which is just damn fast for everything i do.

It's reasonably close to Ecuador's index (5.59), so I suppose it's acceptable.

i envy those with fast internet. Too embarrassed to show you mine. Curse you australia with your slow adoption of high speed broadband

Ideal is:

Download - >10mbps
Upload - > 0.5mbps
Ping -

Just tested mine and I'm getting 25mb/s download and 4.5mb/s upload (Grand Rapids, MI). Didn't even know mine was this fast, only paying for 12mb/s lol

PSN: extremeM

PlayStation Vita Japanese Software Sales (Media Create Physical/ Famitsu Digital)

That's mine. It all depends on what you are going to use the internet for, for normal web browsing 3 MB down and 0.5 MB up is decent.

Going through this thread made me feel better about my own connection, heh

I have an overall good speed, but ping is sucky, and my monthly GB cap is ridiculous; 13GB during the day (unlimited at night).

On Topic: That is probably the best speed available for your area, isn't it? It's not that great, but nothing much you can do about it I suppose. Anyways, ping is more important for online games than bandwidth.
