Kojima does not want to confirm whether or not Solid Snake will make an appearance in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. When asked in an interview by Jeux Video Magazine, he explained it wouldn’t be fun for the fans if he talked about it in any way, and he would rather keep the surprise for the player.

Whether Solid Snake will be in the game or not has been a hot topic among fans. Many people believe the character shown in the latest trailer, Eli, is actually a young Liquid Snake. Could Solid Snake also be in the game? We probably won’t find out until much later.

Solid Snake would be 12 years; so no.   Liquid would have the same.

Ellie is liquid.

And Solidus Snake would have the appareance of a 20 years old adult (even though he would be like 11 years; but due to accelerated aging he looks older); and that is the role Hayter will play in this game.
