Microsoft confirms Windows 10 Creators Update stuttering-game bugs
https://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/pc/microsoft-confirms-windows-10-creators-update-stuttering-game-bugs/1/
Microsoft has confirmed that gamers reporting strange stuttering since the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update earlier this year have not been imagining the issue, releasing a fix for at least one of the root causes to Windows Insiders and actively investigating others.

Part of Microsoft's commitment to biannual Windows feature updates, the Creators Update launched in March this year with a range of new features including early support for 3D modelling and virtual reality applications built directly into the operating system. The release also brought with it 'Game Mode,' a new feature which was claimed by Microsoft's Mike Ybarra to 'optimise your Windows 10 PC for increased performance in gaming.' The twist: Since the launch of Windows 10 Creators Update, gamers have been reporting poor performance and stuttering frame rates in titles which had run just fine under previous Windows 10 builds.

Posting to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update Feedback Hub, which is available only to members of the Windows Insider beta-test programme but the contents of which has been shared on Imgur as part of a Reddit thread, a Microsoft engineer identified as 'Peter K' confirmed the issue: 'Thank you everyone for providing feedback and submitting traces. We have been analysing the traces from your feedback and have identified several different problem sources surfacing as stutter in games,' claims the engineer. 'We have a fix for one of them in the Windows Insider build that flighted to the "Fast" ring [of Windows Insider beta builds] (build 16273 and above). We are actively investigating the remaining stutter causes and appreciate your patience on this issue.'

GTA 5 The Flash Version 2.0 script mod is head-spinning awesome
http://www.pcgamer.com/gta-5-the-flash-version-20-script-mod-is-head-spinning-awesome/
Having launched a Patreon earlier this year, esteemed Grand Theft Auto modder JulioNIB has since set about reworking some of their earlier work. In July, this saw the creator launch the GTA 5 Iron Man script mod Version 2.0—an improved variation of the original that added new animations, new effects, new sounds and, in turn, new ways to tear up Los Santos.
The Flash Version 2.0 follows suit. Despite being a work-in-progress at present, it looks to advance the original mod's formula with new animations, improvements to the superhero's physics-defying wall sprints, and tweaks to his car-smashing Punch Machine Attack, his body-contorting Super Melee Attack, his enemy hiding Phase to Ground Attack, his head-spinning Tornado Attack, and his organ-ripping Heart Attack.

Hey viv, maybe this was the cause of your RL problems?

I had those issues long before that update. Though it's not making troubleshooting easier. Might be related to my latest stutter issues.

The problem is that those issues aren't always there and not really reproduceable.

I just need a new PC and everything will be fine.

Guru3d also posts the same story, and add a bit more info:

http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/got-windows-10-game-stuttering-disable-ms-game-dvr-feature.html

A post on MSPoweruser has a note on a workaround, saying:

Some gamers are reporting that disabling the Xbox Game DVR feature is fixing the issue for them, but that’s not working for everyone. It also seems unlikely Microsoft will be able to fix the issue in the Creators Update with a new cumulative update, and gamers will probably need to update to the Fall Creators Update once it gets released in October. We have reached out to Microsoft for more information on the issue, and we’ll update this article when and if we hear back.

Zen made all Intel dual cores a waste, and now Intel will make their own past quad cores to waste.

Too bad Intel doesn't allow Coffee Lake to run on existing motherboards, otherwise it would sell like hotcakes.
