It's too early to be celebrating for AMD ...

Coffee Lake S is coming up very soon so that Intel can ramp up some more competitive offerings. Zen has to improve in a lot of areas like clocks, feature set, L3 cache, interconnect latency and bandwidth. AMD is just 'poised' rather than 'firm' as of now ...

Zen 2 should improve upon these aspects dramatically and have tons of volume ready from GloFo to be able to supply holiday demand next year ...

Cannonlake being delayed to 2018 2H also isn't enough to pop the champagne yet since the stakes are too high ...

I think it's less about celebrating AMD's "victory" and more celebrating intel's goof ups. Performance/core as well as other tech, Intel still wins.

It's just no one has seen this much goofing for a company like intel in such a long time. Yea you got the usual marketing nonsense but man, this is well above just the usual marketing goof ups and etc imo.

Finally my Aorus 1080ti arrived earlier today.

Now to wait for the other parts.

I could plug this sucker into my current rig, but I'd rather save it for the new build.

I don't think Intel's goof ups detracts from them just yet plus AMD can't depend on Intel to keep goofing up either  ...

Being on an even playfield just isn't good enough for AMD either, they should definitively take 1st place without argument ...

Meh, Intel's been scared recently, not just from Epyc but also from Qualcomm too ...

Only three Nazis get shot in this new Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus trailer
http://www.pcgamer.com/only-three-nazis-get-shot-in-this-new-wolfenstein-ii-the-new-colossus-trailer/
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus promises to deliver a fairly comprehensive Nazi-slaying adventure: not only will you shoot at nazis, but you'll shoot at their robots, and sometimes even their robotic dogs. But this new trailer is fairly restrained in that regard, opting for a clever little live action mood piece instead.

Tangledeep trailer heralds Steam Early Access launch next week
http://www.pcgamer.com/tangledeep-trailer-heralds-steam-early-access-launch-next-week/
I'm not the most nostalgic guy in the world when it comes to the 16-bit SNES era, but I very much like the look of the upcoming roguelike dungeon crawler Tangledeep. It features "rich, turn-based tactical combat" in a world of underground villages and dungeons, all rendered in "impeccable pixel art" and backed by music from veteran composers Andrew Aversa, Hiroki Kikuta, and Grant Kirkhope.
