I also noticed the lack of 1080Ti data, but it's a card that very, very few users will own, so the data omission could only change the overall situation by a small amount (less than 0.5% at this point, imho), while the lack of 5x0 data could have an impart of 1 or 2%.

It took 5 - 6 months for the RX-4x0-series (460, 470 + 480) to reach 1% and over 10 months to reach 1.5%... do you really expect the RX-5x0-reries to reach 1% (or even more) after just 6 weeks? Even without the supply-constraints (data miners buy these cards for other purposes than gaming) that would be a tall order.

I think in general AMD has been happy with how well Polaris has sold. But it didn't sell beyond expectations.

The 7700 series still seems to be AMD's most popular DX12 GPU. Which is stupidly surprising.

I didn't realize it took the entire 4x0 that much to reach the 1% mark, althought it was (as you say) very supply-contrained. Still, the 5x0 series should sell more and have a bigger impact on that table than the 1080Ti.

Yeah, I saw that too. That's one of the reasons (additional to the huge gains of GT 730 + GTX 750 Ti share and the shrunken GTX 1070 share) I'm not sure if it is already the final survey data for May or if adjustments follow within the next days... wouldn't be the first time.

^It could be. Or that the users/machines that took the survey this last month differ quite a bit from the average users.

The latest rumors on the pricing comes from Bitsnchips who have been very accurate regarding their previous reports on Intel and AMD CPUs but the prices are yet to be confirmed by AMD themselves.

Valve reveals Steam Direct fee, upcoming changes to the store
http://www.pcgamer.com/valve-reveals-steam-direct-fee-upcoming-changes-to-the-store/
When Valve announced that it was to do away with Steam Greenlight and replace it with Steam Direct—a direct application process that would charge a 'recoupable' fee for each game submitted—much of the discussion related to how high that fee should be. We thought that it should be as low as possible, and now Valve has come to the same conclusion. The company was considering a fee somewhere between $100 and a whopping $5000, but, in a new Steam blog post, it's been announced that the lowest end of that estimate has been settled on. When Steam Direct goes into effect, developers will have to fork over $100 for each new game they want to appear on Steam, a fee that will be "recoupable", though at the moment it's not clear exactly how.

>>If they really wanted to stop so much shovelware, those $100 won't do anything.
