Guess what my most played game is!

Let me guess. Is it about cars and balls?

Sometimes.

Probably not gonna make it to 2k for the 2 year anniversary.

Well it would. I just hope the gaming gods won't strike me for it. 1000h for a game as great as this should be the yearly minimum.

Most sensible Skyrim mod ever lets you buy stuff right off store shelves
http://www.pcgamer.com/most-sensible-skyrim-mod-ever-lets-you-buy-stuff-right-off-store-shelves/
The last time I went shopping in a store (it was twenty minutes ago, because my coffee maker broke which qualifies as an emergency), I didn't stroll up to the person behind the counter and ask to see a written list of everything they sell. Instead, I walked (essentially sprinted) around the store (Target), looking at the items on the shelves, and then picked the thing (a new coffee maker) I wanted to buy (desperately needed to live).
This mod for the Skyrim Special Edition brings shopping a little closer to that experience.

Part two of today's news. And be careful with the first one!

This anime malware holds your files ransom until you beat a game's ludicrous score
http://www.pcgamer.com/this-anime-malware-holds-your-files-ransom-until-you-beat-a-games-ludicrous-score/
There's a lot of nonsense on the internet about whether anime is "good" or "a mistake," but this story definitely makes me lean a little towards the latter. A new malware called Rensenware is somewhat of a joke on Ransomeware, a type of malware that holds your files ransom until you pay the hacker a certain amount of money. Rensenware, however, hold your files ransom until you score over 200 million points in anime shooter Touhou Seirensen (Undefined Fantastic Object)'s "lunatic" level.

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-xcom-like-turn-based-combat-game-shock-tactics-is-out-next-week/
Indie developer Point Blank Games announced today that Shock Tactics, the turn-based tactical combat game that blends XCOM-style battles with exploration elements and "intricate squad management," will be out on April 11.

>>Of course, that "next week" is this week. Tomorrow, to be more precise.

Total War: Warhammer 2 dev diary video talks new races and the Great Vortex
http://www.pcgamer.com/total-war-warhammer-2-dev-diary-video-talks-new-races-and-the-great-vortex/
Total War: Warhammer 2 was officially announced last week with a dramatic trailer featuring the High Elves, the Dark Elves, and the Lizardmen doing battle over a patch of deep jungle terrain. In a "Vision" dev diary video released today, members of Creative Assembly dug a bit deeper into some of the overarching elements of the game including the races—one of which remains officially unrevealed, although I think we all know who it is—the world, and how players can either dive into, or completely ignore, the story of the Great Vortex.

Warhammer sailing game Man O' War: Corsair launches April 19
http://www.pcgamer.com/warhammer-sailing-game-man-o-war-corsair-launches-april-19/
Man O' War Corsair is a Warhammer universe sailing game that lets you battle monsters, and other Warhammer races, out on the open sea. It's been in early access for around a year, but now developer Evil Twin Artworks reckons it's ready to release the game for real—and it will do so on April 19th. It's an occasion that calls for a barrel of grog, and of course the traditional launch trailer.

After seven years, Far Cry 4 director Alex Hutchinson has left Ubisoft. The veteran developer announced his departure on Twitter, while simultaneously revealing the name of a new studio he's founded with some fellow developers including former Warner Bros. and EA executive producer Reid Schneider.

Hitman's 23rd elusive target is a sleazy paparazzo
http://www.pcgamer.com/hitmans-23rd-elusive-target-is-a-sleazy-paparazzo/
Hitman's 23rd elusive target is one Kieran Hudson, a sleazy paparazzo/tabloid journalist who has ruined the career of a former sitcom star with a "particularly destructive series of rumours". Said sitcom star has employed the agency to take Hudson out, who is currently milling about at the fashion show in the game's Paris map. However, he'll only be there until April 18, so if you want to do your bit towards the death of print, then you'd better get on it.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom trailer introduces party members
http://www.pcgamer.com/shiness-the-lightning-kingdom-trailer-introduces-party-members/
I could really go for a PS2-style, 3D JRPG right about now—you know, something like the Tales Of or Star Ocean series, only not as nails-on-a-chalkboard irritating as those franchises have become. I'm hoping that Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom will be an answer of sorts: it's an old-fashioned and colourful adventure that seems a little bit Tales Of, a little bit Naruto, and that looks like it might scratch that 'light-hearted JRPG' itch that was so well-served on PS2 and PS3.

State of Decay 2 will launch with three open world maps
http://www.pcgamer.com/state-of-decay-2-will-launch-with-three-open-world-maps/
State of Decay, the actually-pretty-decent open world zombie survival game, is getting a sequel later this year. Much like the original, State of Decay 2 will feature open world gameplay, but in a new blogpost Undead Labs has announced it will be approaching things a little differently. Instead of just one open world, the sequel will feature three at launch.

EVE players given mission to search for real-life exoplanets
http://www.pcgamer.com/eve-players-given-mission-to-search-for-real-life-exoplanets/
EVE Online's Project Discovery is a story of how gaming communities can band together to solve real-world problems. Last year, the MMO's fan base helped map the human proteome, and this year, they're helping with something they might be more familiar with: charting outer space.

Black Desert Online to add new systems, modes, magical unicorns in coming weeks
http://www.pcgamer.com/black-desert-online-to-add-new-systems-modes-magical-unicorns-in-coming-weeks/
Between its in-game picketing, seasonally-themed events and dedication to troll rehabilitation, PearlAbyss' Black Desert Online is brimming with interesting stories—even if it's a little unconventional in its execution. Part of what allows this to be the case is its number of hearty feature-filled updates, the latest of which was discussed via a developer-led Twitch livestream at the weekend.

Minecraft to launch new community Marketplace
http://www.pcgamer.com/minecraft-to-launch-new-community-marketplace/
Minecraft will launch a new online store designed to promote played-created adventure maps, texture packs and skins at some stage this spring. Exclusive to mobile and Windows 10 versions of the game, the new Minecraft Marketplace will be introduced alongside its 1.1 Discovery update that's due in the coming weeks.
