^That's cool, but I'd honestly (not just because they're fellow spaniards) get a Smach Z before one of those.

Anyway, let's go with the news!

By the way, given that there's a few news regarding Mass Effect Andromeda, I've decided to group them together in a *Special* section

*Special*: Mass Effect Andromeda

MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA – NEW GAMEPLAY TRAILER FOCUSES ON CHARACTERS
http://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/mass-effect-andromeda-new-gameplay-trailer-focuses-on-characters/
Electronic Arts and BioWare have released a new gameplay trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda. In this video, we get to learn all about how to customize our character, progress our skills, and command our squad. Mass Effect: Andromeda is powered by DICE’s Frostbite 3 Engine and is now planned for a March 21st release.

MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA WILL STAR GAME OF THRONES' NATALIE DORMER
http://www.pcgamer.com/mass-effect-andromeda-will-star-game-of-thrones-natalie-dormer/
You may recognise Natalie Dormer as Game of Thrones' Margaery Tyrell, The Tudors' Anne Boleyn, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay's Cressida, or any other of the English actor's long list of film, TV, or music video roles. If you're interested in Mass Effect: Andromeda, you'll soon know her as the voice of Lexi T’Perro—the doctor on board the game's Normandy-like ship The Tempest.

MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA – BRAND NEW SCREENSHOTS RELEASED
http://www.dsogaming.com/screenshot-news/mass-effect-andromeda-brand-new-screenshots-released/
Alongside its new gameplay trailer, Electronic Arts released some new screenshots for Mass Effect: Andromeda. These new screenshots showcase some of the game’s characters. Mass Effect: Andromeda releases on March 21st.

THE OFFICIAL MASS EFFECT DECK IS COMING TO CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-official-mass-effect-deck-is-coming-to-cards-against-humanity/
"Nothing is sacred," BioWare said on Twitter earlier today, and in that spirit it has teamed up with Cards Against Humanity to announce the official Mass Effect Pack, a collection of 14 brand-new cards based on the "valuable intellectual property" known as Mass Effect.

MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA HAS NO LEVEL CAP, ALLOWS YOU TO COMPLETELY RESPEC RYDER
http://www.pcgamer.com/mass-effect-andromeda-has-no-level-cap-allows-you-to-completely-respec-ryder/
Mass Effect: Andromeda's skills system got me excited. Very excited. Because there's no strict class system, you can mix and match skills from all three categories: combat, biotics, and tech. Each skill can be upgraded six times, and each category has 12 entries, with a couple of these being more generalized upgrades, like buffs to your overall biotics damage in the biotics category, or increasing your HP in the combat category. In typical Mass Effect fashion, the higher ranks for each skill will offer two upgrade choices with different effects.

AMD today released the 17.2.1 WHQL version of its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive. This release features Multi GPU profiles and support for For Honor (with an up to 4% performance improvement on Radeon RX 480) and Sniper Elite 4 (with a 5% performance improvement being registered here). Look after the break for a list of known, fixed issues. Compared to the previous 17.2.1 Beta release of the ReLive driver suite, this one is virtually the same, the only difference being the WHQL signing.

>>You can download them from here.

Also, if you're a Win 8.1 32-bit user (what's wrong with you?), you have to know that AMD will no longer support this OS with its drivers.

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/quantum-break-here-is-how-you-can-enable-sli-with-amazing-95-scaling/
Quantum Break is one of the most demanding PC games that have been released recently. And to be honest, its spectacular lighting system and detailed characters somehow justify these requirements. Quantum Break’s lighting and global illumination effects are among the best we’ve seen in any game. However, at its time of release, the game lacked official SLI support. Well, not anymore as a workaround – offering incredible SLI scaling – has been found.

Assisted by robots and a central AI system, he's wound up on the isolated planet Naic where he's forced to "navigate the physical and political" dangers posed by Nomoni Inc's controversial mining programme.

I might finally upgrade my cpu if the benches are legit. Go Ryzen go!

If you look down that Kickstarter link, you'll see that you can choose between Win 10 and Linux.

And yes, it's still not released.

lol, a full system for the same as a single processor... and one that, if leaks and all that turn out to be true, won't be much faster than the one powering that complete system.

By the way, for those that don't need an 8 core/16 threads CPU, the 6c/12t will launch in Q2 and the 4c/8t ones in the second half of the year http://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-5-3-launch-1600x-performance-reveal/

Hopefully! I wanted my next cpu upgrade to be an 8 core with really good ipc but intel's prices were just craycray to justify it for me. With Ryzen tho, I finally might be able to get one! Ik pcs dont have generations but I feel like this will be the start of the next generation!

Is there actually many games around currently/in the next couple of years that will be taking advantage of 8c/16 threads?
I want to see more on the 6c/12t series and what they can produce price/power wise.

I'd upgrade the RAM to 16GB, but otherwise it's a great PC to lay at 1080p until the PS5/XboxWhatever come and raise the bar again with its ports.

I doubt it. Some games/engines may use the extra cores, but even them will work equally fine with a 4 core CPU if it's fast enough.

I also want to see what the 6 and 4 cores variants will do, but the decision to make them slower than the 8 core processors is rather odd.

Yea didn't think so but if It came to it the price tags are still competitive enoguht on the 8c to throw into a gaming rig.

What are they doing exactly to make them slower? All I saw that the 1600X has the same 3.6 base 4.0 boost, but I really haven't followed much about them as when I'm not really in he market for new hardware I just don't follow the stuff until closer to the time I plan an upgrade.
