^Because I don't have any of those games. otherwise I'd ask for all those DLCs... Nah! I'd leave one for the rest of you.

Anyway, AMD and Nvidia news!

AMD

Let's go first with Ryzen, becayse apparently, the NDA is split in several days and plenty of sites talk today about the new chips. More precisely, the three 8 core chips:

Now, let's go with Vega:

AMD Radeon RX 580 Ashes of the Singularity results leaks out https://videocardz.com/66253/amd-radeon-rx-580-ashes-of-the-singularity-results-leaks-out

What’s RX 580? Is it a new chip? Is it a rebranded and overclocked RX 480? I don’t think we can answer this yet. Ashes of the Singularity benchmarks are hard to compare, but there are plenty of results with GTX 1070 in this area (7100 points in Standard 1080p preset).

Nvidia

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is coming (Update: confirmed) https://videocardz.com/66309/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-is-coming

NVIDIA has just added a countdown for February 28th event..

And if that TIME was no clue enough, they found this on the code source

NIER: AUTOMATA PC RELEASE DATE MAY HAVE BEEN LEAKED BY A NEW TRAILER
http://www.pcgamer.com/nier-automata-pc-release-date-may-have-been-leaked-by-a-new-trailer/
The new Nier: Automata trailer, "Arsenal of Elegant Destruction," is very much an exercise in "show, don't tell." It is entirely without dialog, instead serving up a solid two minutes of things getting stabbed, slashed, shot, blown up, hammered, and otherwise clobbered in visually impressive ways. It's fun to watch, if not terribly informative, but there is a very interesting little tidbit at the end: A possible PC release date.

>>Shikamo made a thread about this trailer/date announcement.

SQUARE ENIX REPLACES NIER AUTOMATA’S LATEST TRAILER MENTIONING THE PC RELEASE DATE FROM ITS PRESS SITE
http://www.dsogaming.com/news/square-enix-replaces-nier-automatas-latest-trailer-mentioning-the-pc-release-date-from-its-press-site/
Man, what a clusterF. Earlier today, Square Enix released a new trailer for NieR Automata. And surprisingly enough, a version of that trailer featured a release date for the PC version. According to that trailer, that was available on Square Enix’s press site, NieR Automata was coming to the PC on March 10th. However, and as we’ve already said, it appears that the PC version will be delayed.

BATTLEFIELD 1'S MORSE CODE PUZZLE HAS BEEN SOLVED, BUT THE MYSTERY IS ONLY BEGINNING
http://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-1s-morse-code-puzzle-has-been-solved-but-the-mystery-is-only-beginning/
Deep down beneath layers of Belarusian Morse code, hidden buttons, code-breaking, your Friends list, and other such complexities, Battlefield 4 featured one of the most complicated Easter eggs of all time. In October of last year, shortly after its release, it began to look (or, more accurately, sound) like the throwback shooter Battlefield 1 would follow the same path. Players discovered headphones hidden on each map that, when coupled with secret radio stations, led to the discovery of encrypted Morse code broadcasts.

TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER TRAILER HERALDS THE COMING ARRIVAL OF BRETONNIA'S KNIGHTS
http://www.pcgamer.com/total-war-warhammer-trailer-heralds-the-coming-arrival-of-bretonnias-knights/
Total War: Warhammer players are now just one week away from laying their hands on the free Bretonnia DLC that was announced last year. To mark the looming arrival of the Arthurian army of gleaming knights, majestic pegasus, towering trebuchets, and unwashed peasants, developer Creative Assembly has whipped up an "in-engine cinematic trailer" that sets the tone for what the new faction will bring to the fight.

CIVILIZATION 6 TO ADD AUSTRALIA DLC - A FIRST FOR THE SERIES
http://www.pcgamer.com/civilization-6-to-add-australia-dlc-a-first-for-the-series/
Civilization 6 is set to add Australia to its turn-based 4X strategy bounds, which is the first time the land Down Under has featured in the series. Led by its 14th Prime Minister John Curtin, the Ozzies will enter the world domination fold as premium DLC alongside the game's forthcoming Australian Summer update.

>>Don't worry, Pemalite, one day New Zealand will be there too (probably thanks to a mod, tho).

http://www.pcgamer.com/berserk-and-the-band-of-hawk-gets-blood-splattered-demon-slaughtering-launch-trailer/
After months of teasing its fast-firing combat, god-like boss battles, and blood-soaked battlegrounds, Omega Force's Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is out now on PC.

ATARI RESURRECTS CULT CLASSIC SWORDQUEST AFTER 30-YEAR ABSENCE
http://www.pcgamer.com/atari-resurrects-cult-classic-swordquest-after-30-year-absence/
In the early '80s, DC comics collaborated with Atari to bring the latter's Swordquest videogame series to life in comic form. Packaged with each game, the comics expanded on their respective games' plot (the 2600's crude graphics struggled to portray deep and meaningful narrative) while also offering part-solutions to each game's puzzles—the sum of which, if solved, would net players prize money of $150,000.

CHECK OUT THE FIRST GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE OF ARK: SURVIVAL EVOLVED'S VR OFFSHOOT
http://www.pcgamer.com/ark-park-vr-gameplay/
We're probably a few decades from experiencing something like Jurassic Park in real life—which I'm okay with considering the body count those movies rack up. Judging by this reveal of the gameplay footage, Ark Park looks to be the next best thing. Developed independently by Snail Games, Ark Park lets you explore and interact with dinos in a variety of Jurassic climates all from the comfort of your VR goggles. Snail Games invited members of Studio Wildcard, the original developers of Ark: Survival Evolved, to see how Ark Park is shaping up.

HERE'S HOW BLIZZARD IS PLANNING TO REVITALIZE HEARTHSTONE'S ARENA MODE
http://www.pcgamer.com/heres-how-blizzard-is-planning-to-revitalize-hearthstones-arena-mode/
Following last week's announcement of the changes coming to Hearthstone's Standard mode soon, today Blizzard turned its scrying eye to Arena, the game's draft format. The big change is that Arena will switch from Wild to Standard mode, meaning the cards available to draft will only be offered from expansion sets from the last two years, in addition to the basic and classic sets.

Finally, i pre-ordered Ryzen 7-1700X and Asus Prime B350M-A, i'm glad i got them.

Oh yeah, remember my new gaming PC 2016 that includes i7-6800K? It's sold except 64GB DDR4 RAM, R9 Fury, 240GB M.2 SSD and sound card - No, guys, it's not about disappointment, it's about my best friend, i'm going to explain a little bit.

A friend of mine was up for building his workstation PC, he was having problem finding cheap case/motherboard/PSU, because he overpaid a little, he just got an 8 core/16 thread Xeon, 128GB DDR4, Quadro and 2TB M.2 SSD, so, i was like hmm that's interesting component you got there, in the end, i decided to sell my PC for cheap cost for my best friend.

... I have so many questions!

Why did you go with a B350 motherboard instead of an X370? And why haven't you waited a bit longer until reviews (c'mon, they'll be online the 28th) to decide your purchase?

Also, I take it that you sold your case, PSU and mobo to your friend? And what hace you done woth the CPU? Also, why does he need such a powerful PC?

Hah, i knew it's hella shocking.

1st of all, i picked a micro-atx B350 for my budget case Cougar MG100 mini tower and what am i suppose to do with Xfire/SLI, i'm not interested anyway, also i don't care about reviews, so.... wheather they're fast or slow or issue, whatever technology story.

2nd of all, yes i sold it to my friend(Don't worry, I got new case and new PSU during sales after i built my concept PC back in 2016), and no, i have nothing done with the CPU, it's fine, however he actually gave his poor brother for free to upgrade from Sky-Lake Intel Celeron to i7 6800K additionally bought a used micro-atx X99 motherboard from someone(I honestly couldn't believe he saved amount of money LMAO), and at last he needs a powerful PC to create a massive CGI characters animation short demos.

The X370 offers more than just X-Fire/SLI, it also offers more PCIe Gen2 lanes, USB and SATA ports. But if the B350 is enough for you, then ok.

I'm still not sure Ryzen will be better than Intel for gaming, tho. Sure, it can be on par or even better than Intel's high end chips, but Skylake/Kaby Lake still have a big advantage with its higher clocks.
