I still haven't bought any game.

*Torchlight II at 80% off is tempting, but when I tried the demo some time ago, I wasn't left all that excited for it.
*Euro Truck Simulator 2, despite being a weird game, interests me. But the good deal comes from the Deluxe Bundle, and that includes games (and DLCs) that I'm not interested in and it's too much money for a game that I find weird.

And I could keep going with other games... I'm just not in the mood of buying games. :-/

Torchlight 2 is awesome.

I played the first one too but the 2nd one is fantastic in almost every aspect - a lot of improvement.

Though I have to say - it was REALLY fun when playing with friends - had to grind a bit at times alone and wasnt as fun but ya its a game where its more fun when you are with people thats for sure.

I gave it a 92 out of 100.

I know it's a good game, but I didn't enjoy it .

OCULUS REMOVES "PLATFORM INTEGRITY CHECK" DRM

http://www.pcgamer.com/oculus-removes-platform-integrity-check-drm/

In a surprising and very quiet turnaround, Oculus VR has dropped the “platform integrity check” DRM that prevented Oculus Store apps running without an Oculus Rift headset. As noted by Motherboard, word of the change came not from Oculus, but from the maker of Revive, the hack that allows Rift-exclusive software to run on other VR platforms.

WHORE OF THE ORIENT, THE SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR TO LA NOIRE, ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN

http://www.pcgamer.com/whore-of-the-orient-the-spiritual-successor-to-la-noire-isnt-going-to-happen/

It's been about four years since we last heard anything from the startlingly-named Whore of the Orient, and so a refresher is probably in order. It was being developed by Team Bondi, the studio that created LA Noire for Rockstar, and looked to be structurally similar to that game, but set in and around 1936 Shanghai, “the most corrupt and decadent city on the planet.” I thought it sounded promising, if a little risky, but now it's come to light that the project has been canceled.

RESIDENT EVIL 7 WON'T FEATURE QUICK-TIME EVENTS

http://www.pcgamer.com/resident-evil-7-wont-feature-quick-time-events/

I wouldn't have thought it possible after the absurdly over-the-top Resident Evil 6, but I'm really looking forward to Resi 7, which appears to be returning to the roots of the series and then some. James Davenport seemed to enjoy his time with the E3 demo, which is not part of the main game but is instead meant to act as a sort of taster sample, minus the combat and puzzles that will almost certainly be included in the main event.

I'm not against those videos, but perhaps they were better placed in their own thread.

The same goes for the Let's Play videos of PC games, especially if they have so many parts. Posting Part 1 of each game here could be a compromise, but why also post parts 2 - 99? Either the people are interested due to part 1 (then they can follow on youtube) or not.

I am neither for nor against those videos, but thanks to those posts by Basil and zero, there's some activity here besides my news posts.

Also, following a series on Youtube can be hard as not everybody is like Basil, that makes new videos everyday. Sometimes there are days between updates and one forgets about checking them.

Compromise? Where are we? In a political forum l0l

Fine - I wont post them again since it bothers you that much.

Might as well not post in the thread again while I'm at it....along with that go make shitpost threads like all the other dudebro wannabes make about "insert console vs insert console", PC vs "insert console", graphics, etc ~_~.

Take a deep breath before doing anything, Basil. A negative comment is just that, don't take it for what it's not, an attack against you.

Take it easy.

Today there's one one news post, and it's a weird one, with several news but only about four games.

BETHESDA IS "NOT WORKING ON" THE ELDER SCROLLS 6 JUST YET [UPDATED]

http://www.pcgamer.com/bethesda-is-not-working-on-the-elder-scrolls-6-just-yet/

Update: Hines sent us a statement clarifying his tweet, and the status of The Elder Scrolls 6. "[Howard] said we were going to make it," he said. "He never said it was in development."

Original post: A couple of weeks ago, Todd Howard of Bethesda confirmed that, yes, the studio is making a new Elder Scrolls game. “I think it's good to tell our fans in these moments, yes, of course we are,” he said during YouTube's Live at E3 stream. Not that an official announcement of TES6 is imminent or anything like that, but somewhere, deep in the bowels of Fortress Bethsoft, wheels are turning.

OVERWATCH SURPASSES LEAGUE OF LEGENDS IN KOREA'S GAMING CAFES

http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-surpasses-league-of-legends-in-koreas-gaming-cafes/

For almost four full years, League of Legends has been the most-played game in Korea's PC bangs, a sort of internet cafe-slash-gaming room where people pay a flat hourly fee to play online games. But that reign has come to an end, according to a recent Gametrics report (via Polygon), which said that the new king of the hill is—surprise!—Overwatch.

THE DIVISION'S UNDERGROUND EXPANSION IS LIVE

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-divisions-underground-expansion-is-live/

The Division's new expansion, Underground, is live now as part of patch 1.3. As the name suggests, Underground owners will be heading down, down, far underground into the tunnels of New York—tunnels which lend themselves to procedural generation and custom rulesets in the form of Directives.

THE DIVISION'S UNDERGROUND EXPANSION HAS RANDOMLY GENERATED DUNGEONS

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-divisions-underground-expansion-has-randomly-generated-dungeons/

The Division is the kind of shooter you're meant to play forever, yet a common complaint is that there's not enough to do aside from shoot the same angry people over and over again. So it's good news that the forthcoming Underground expansion – which releases this week – will introduce randomly generated dungeons.
