OVERWATCH OPEN BETA WON'T HAVE COMPETITIVE PLAY
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-open-beta-wont-have-competitive-play/
If you're into the early access portion of the Overwatch open beta, you've likely noticed that competitive play is not currently available. The reason, Game Director Jeff Kaplan revealed in the Overwatch forum, is that Blizzard has decided to overhaul it entirely—and it won't be back until sometime after the game launches.
>>You didn't said that yesterday, Chazore.
BATTLEFIELD 4: DRAGON'S TEETH IS FREE FOR A WEEK
http://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-4-dragons-teeth-is-free-for-a-week/
If you're still playing Battlefield 4 but haven't yet picked up the Dragon's Teeth DLC that was released a couple of years ago, you may now, and for the next week, get it (and keep it forever) for free.
DISHONORED 2 VOICE CAST FEATURES VINCENT D'ONOFRIO, ROSARIO DAWSON, AND AN OLD THIEF
http://www.pcgamer.com/dishonored-2-voice-cast-features-vincent-donofrio-rosario-dawson-and-an-old-thief/
The Dishonored 2 voice cast has been revealed over on GameSpot, and I think you'll agree that it's solid. The lineup for the sequel to Arkane's hit stealthpunk game will include Vincent D'Onofrio, Rosario Dawson, and Pedro Pascal, and the previously-silent protagonist Corvo Attano will now have a voice of his own, too, courtesy of the guy we used to call Garrett.
STAR WARS: SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE DEBUTS ON GOG
http://www.pcgamer.com/star-wars-shadows-of-the-empire-debuts-on-gog/
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire was originally released in 1996 for the Nintendo 64, followed by a Windows version a year later. It didn't make a huge splash, critically or commercially, but Samuel liked it enough to include it in his list from last month of old Star Wars games that need to be on modern PCs. And it looks like maybe somebody was listening.
>>Coincidentally, and also because of the May 4th thing, there's a Star Wars sale on GOG and another one on Steam.
WASTELAND 2 DEVS ISSUE C&D LETTER TO ALIEN WASTELAND STUDIO
http://www.pcgamer.com/wasteland-2-devs-issue-cd-letter-to-alien-wasteland-studio/
Alien Wasteland was a low-budget FPS which invited players to “battle (their) way through hordes of aliens from canyon deserts to tropical islands”. Developed by one man studio Dan Games, it sells for around $4.99 and has done so since it released in June last year. Alas, as of yesterday Alien Wasteland is no more: it’s now known as the slightly less elegant Action Alien.

TIM SWEENEY RENEWS ATTACK ON MICROSOFT'S UWP
http://www.pcgamer.com/tim-sweeney-renews-attack-on-microsofts-uwp/
Epic Games’ Tim Sweeney has not been subtle in his denunciation of Microsoft’s Universal Windows Platform, famously describing it as an attempt to create a “Microsoft-controlled distribution and commerce monopoly”. Despite Microsoft’s attempts to allay fears at its //Build/ conference last month, Sweeney still isn’t having a bar of the initiative.
VALVE TINKERS WITH STEAM USER REVIEWS
http://www.pcgamer.com/valve-tinkers-with-steam-user-reviews/
Valve has shaken up Steam user reviews to better reflect how a game plays in its present state.
In isolation, Steam reviews are uniquely baffling, but en masse they give a decent idea of quality (or how badly the developer has upset the internet). Trouble is, an aggregate score born of release-day fury is hard to change as the game is patched up. Some might call that deserved; Valve disagrees.
>>I found the old system fine, but given that it's only one click away, this isn't too bothersome.
DANGEROUS GOLF TRAILER IS A HEALTH AND SAFETY NIGHTMARE
http://www.pcgamer.com/dangerous-golf-trailer-is-a-health-and-safety-nightmare/
Dangerous Golf plays just as you imagine golf from former Burnout developers would. It's apocalyptically destructive, a cathartic, arcadey physics sim on which to expend your crockery-based fury.

FALLOUT 4: FAR HARBOR TRAILER RELEASED
http://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-4-far-harbor-trailer-released/
At last, the big one is almost upon us: Far Harbor, the full-size expansion for Fallout 4. Bumper size, even—Bethesda says that Far Harbor has the largest landmass of any Bethesda add-on ever. That makes it a welcome change from the light fluff of Automatron and the wholly skippable Wasteland Workshop. More content does mean more cash however, and if you don't own the season pass, Far Harbor will cost you £20.

TITANFALL DEVELOPER RESPAWN IS WORKING ON A NEW STAR WARS GAME
http://www.pcgamer.com/titanfall-developer-respawn-is-working-on-a-new-star-wars-game/
Electronic Arts has announced that Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment is working on a new third-person action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Details beyond that haven't been revealed, but Respawn's Stig Asmussen, who's leading the project, promised to “pay respect to the Star Wars legacy at all times.”
>>How many EA studios are working on Star Wars games? 3, 4? Anyway, LudicousSpeed has made a thread about this news, go check it: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=216332
