Apparently disabling that render actually makes the fps worse, the game was more or less a straight up console only game and the movement to PC has basically rendered it worse off. This whole "let them make things right" could have been avoided years ago if MS had just listened to it's PC base than simply ignoring it.

Yeah, the dsogaming article says that there's a 20 fps penalty by disabling the "upscaling" option. Ridiculous.

@Conina: New charts so soon? Steam has been fast this time. Windows 10 and the GTX 970 increase their leads.

Here it is. Kaby Lake specs.

http://www.pcgamer.com/intel-kaby-lake-core-i7-7700k-cpu-specs-leaked/

^We all know how the 7700K will end, being 10-15% faster than the 6700K, which in turn was 10-15% faster than the 4770K, which also was 10-15% faster than the 3770K...

My only doubt is if it will have the same 16 PCI-E lanes of its predecessors or if Intel will put a few more for the new storage solutions, although I doubt it.

Try >5%, Skylake was a little under 6% faster than Haswell according to anandtech and that was on a tick!

Clearly i know upgrading my mobo alone wont give me any gains when it comes to emulators.

However, unlocking my 2500K CPU by buying an unlocked MB will give me massive gains..

I hear the 2500K CPU are meant to be a beast once over clocked, and also keep pretty cool even on stock fans.

I wasn't been clear, I didn't mean that upgrading your motherboard would see automatic gains but what you mentioned is exactly what I meant ...

That getting a Z series chipset would mean that as you said allow your CPU multiplier ...

Sorry i thought with all the dots the was a bit of sacasm in there.

Ellipses are not used to represent sarcasm, "/s" short for "/sarcasm" is often the way to show sarcasm but let's not get further off track from this thread ...

I was victim of a rare case of optimism. I don't even know how that could happen with Intel being involved...

Anyway, and in other news, Nvidia is preparing to unveil its 10x0 series this Friday!

NVIDIA teases GeForce 1000 series with “Order of 10” campaign (update: countdown has started!)

http://videocardz.com/59517/nvidia-teases-geforce-1000-series-with-order-of-10-campaign

NVIDIA has apparently began its GeForce 1000 promotional campaign by sending mysterious boxes to selected reviewers. However those boxes and their content do not directly reveal that they were shipped by NVIDIA, instead editors are asked to solve puzzles which require all of them to work together in order to reveal who sent it and what is this whole #Orderof10 thing all about.

This is the video made by Gamers Nexus showing how they solved the mystery box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gzy46KunkqA

And all of this leads to this page http://orderof10.com/humanityshallbeenlightened with a countdown that will finish in 3 days and 9 hours.

Just woke up about an hr ago and downloaded the Overwatch Beta, feels like being a kid at Christmas =P.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Called it just a week before her release and it turned out I was right.

She'll basically have another cookie cutter talent tree selection where most talents that got nerfed or replaced won't be chosen any more simply because they aren't viable, that 2 second shave off of recall from a now 26 sec time to 24 is utterly worthless.

http://www.pcgamer.com/heroes-of-the-storms-tracer-is-getting-nerfed/

I'm so tired of playing a game where new and interesting characters get nerfed because a group of people constantly play their fave heroes and hate the status quo getting disrupted by fresh new meat.
