Thats pretty neat! Hope it works out!

And yea, I can certainly help with stuff like banners and etc kinda like how I did in my nsfw thread. I will link one of the banners but it is... well.... nsfw...

I would just replace the breasts with computer parts really and that will be that! (Didn't ever think I would ever type a sentence like that loll)

I do want the PC community here to be bigger tho. I hate how its treated in this site which is a shame cause the PC gamers here are nice for the most part and don't act like some of the jerks in some other sites... Yet... They get bullied and looked down upon for no reason. Its basically like PC gamers act like elistests in some other sites so the console gamers that go to that site hate that and spread it to this site even though the PC gamers in this site are pretty kind and etc... But Oh well, hopefully in the future, we will have a nice PC userbase here and one of the steps is certainly a new PC thread! Its just hosting it is the issue in such busy times T_T

Oh I;m sure we could turn a rig into something nsfw one way or another =P

It'd be nice to have some banners for sure, I could do with brushing up more often on my PS and edit my avatars just a tad.

I agree with you though, I too want to see the community grow and thrive on here. I see it growing on sites like the Escapist and PCG etc, but on here it just seems so very small and secluded with only an article or two during the week that usually gets downplayed or twisted as not being so enwsworthy at all, I can see that affecting lurkers on the site if they find that's how much in terms of PC gaming that goes on here.

I think PC gamers for the longest time have always been treated and seen as the stereotypical nerd, you know the one that James Rolfe basically dresses up as minus the swears lol. I feel that because PC gaming isn't created or owned by a brand or corp that it's somewhat of an easier target to hit because you're actually hitting the userbase rather than a corporate entity which can actually display business power and general brand awareness, only thing like that on PC is in terms of GPU/CPU's when it comes to Nvidia, AMD and Intel with MS on the sidelines.

The one thing I have grown to dislike since being a full on PC gamer is realizing I was wrong about allt he crap I used to spew towards the platform in general, I was like a few VG users on here who constantly threw whatever they could find to say how much the platform sucked, then of course two mates helped me over time with the technical know how of building my own, actually helping me build it and with time I sought out knowledge of PC gaming and found I was wrong about crap I had spewed in the past. Today I see it happening over all sides of the net, here isn't any different, when I see it though I see refecltions of myself when I was like that, when I was ill informed, of course in seeing that I natrually want to reach out and correct the user if possible, sometimes I can be wrong and be right. the point being that PC users mostly just want to correct minsinformation about the platform in general and I can see that being something important on here.

I honestly don't mind whatever anyone games on at all, I just don't like them throwing up list wars, console wars, PC vs console threads, basic war determined threads that are designed to deter another userbase into leaving the site or participating a lot less, that's what I felt from this site during the summer and decided to take a break for a while and only recently did I come back when some users who were previously not nice to others, were removed from the site by mods, which in turn made me feel like coming back since it felt a bit more normal to participate more than getting ragged on 24/7.

lol yeah some sort of election would be good, we should probably hold one either before Xmas or after it, if we do it before we get a new leader and talk plans and start anew during Jan if we're lucky. If we get a new one by Jan the same could happen anyway. We should hold it when we can get a hold of most PC users on here though, those that do show up as often as possible to get a hold of.

Wow! I think I never saw that much activity on this thread.

@Sprash: You don't need to be that smart to realize that if something grows (in his prediction, the PS4), the rest of the market has to shrink or go down. Unless you mean that the market will grow and PS4 will take all these newly found gamers, which is hard to believe.

@zero129: zarx didn't left... he's just gone, like forever. His twitter account hasn't been active since october last year, and it's been almost a year since he logged into Steam for the last time. Given how much he was into PCgaming, either he has done a 180ª turn and now hates it, or he's gone (or he's in jail, but even in jail they have Computer Rooms so he could come and say hi!) .

@Charoze: To try to give you less problems, I'll stop posting images and videos (I'll just link them) when posting the news, but without the option to modify the text size or add colours, the format won't be pretty.

@all: I'm in for a new thread, more general and open to other parts of the PC culture. While I don't follow many sites with industry news (kitguru and wccftech for the lulz), I do keep an eye on every rumor about Pascal and Artic Islands, and also follow some forums about modding. It's quite impressive to see what some of them are capable to do.

Please excuse my bad English.

Would be nice to see someone kickstart things here. Possibly start a new, news-thread, a clean-slate if you will. :)

Maybe the year before, you weren't on last year's list

I think it was during your break from the site and its poor discussions.

But then, why the question? You didn't remember about it or what?

You know, when it comes to rumors I've read a lot of times people moking them with comments like, for example, "I have a friend whose brother knows a guy that works at X and knows a guy that works at AMD, and he says that the next cards will arrive soon". We've all read them, smile and think that while exaggerated, sometimes it can work like that.

Well, wccftech posted a rumor (even they label it as a rumor!) this weekend that's exactly like that:

Rumor : AMD Zen CPU Core Testing “Met All Expectation” – No “Significant Bottlenecks” Found

http://wccftech.com/amd-zen/

And it's based on this forum post:

I'm actually hoping this year I can participate in the secret Santa a lot more than I tried for last year.
