Friday news, part two and last:
EA promises increased measures to combat toxicity in its games
https://www.pcgamer.com/ea-promises-increased-measures-to-combat-toxicity-in-its-games/
After making a committment to Black Lives Matter and racial equality, publisher Electronic Arts is now tackling player toxicity at large. The company has unveiled its "Positive Play" charter, an updated set of guidelines for player behaviour for all of its games, services and platforms such as forums. The charter itself is pretty basic stuff—so basic in fact it's a bit surprising some what's in it didn't exist before. Guidelines include "don't be a jerk," "provide useful feedback," and "maybe think twice before posting that".
Utopian survival horror Pamela comes out of Early Access today
https://www.pcgamer.com/utopian-survival-horror-pamela-comes-out-of-early-access-today/
NVYVE Studios' debut Pamela (stylised P.A.M.E.L.A.) remained in Early Access for a really long time after we compared it to System Shock in 2017, but the finished version released on Steam today, together with an all-new trailer. You're a "Sleeper", an augmented being woken from cryosleep by Pamela, the AI overseeing the utopian city of Eden. Something must've gone very wrong, though, because what was once a thriving metropolis now seems abandoned—but of course you're not alone for long.
Fortnite's vicious new sharks are scaring the hell out of everyone

Fortnite Season 3 is here, and if you thought guards were the only NPCs you'd have to worry about, think again. With half the map now submerged beneath water, players now have to deal with huge sharks roaming the waves, looking for a tasty player to chomp on.

https://www.pcgamer.com/halo-3-testers-who-use-racist-slurs-will-be-removed-and-face-consequences-in-the-retail-game/
Halo 3 testing officially kicked off last week, giving Halo Insiders a chance to get their hands on the next addition to Halo: The Master Chief Collection before it's rolled out to the world at large. 343 Industries community director Brian Jarrad said yesterday that more people are being invited into the test, which has been extended to June 26, and he also had a very stern warning for everyone taking part.

In the span of just four hours in the ongoing Gaming Community Expo 2020 Charity Marathon, Bungie—with the able assistance of the Destiny 2 community—raised a whopping $800,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Rocket Arena is a colorful 3v3 hero shooter coming in July
https://www.pcgamer.com/ea-announces-rocket-arena-a-colorful-3v3-hero-shooter-coming-in-july/
If the name Rocket Arena sounds familiar, that's because the 3v3 hero shooter was already announced once before. It happened about a year ago, and it even underwent a closed beta—though at the time it was an FPS from developer First Strike Games and being published by Nexon.
Today Rocket Arena was re-announced, this time as a third-person shooter (still 3v3), and now it's being published by EA and launching on July 14. I got to play a few hours of the new Rocket Arena last week: check out some gameplay footage above.
Lost in Random is a coming-of-age fairytale from Fe developer Zoink Games
https://www.pcgamer.com/lost-in-random-is-a-coming-of-age-fairytale-from-fe-developer-zoink-games/
Fe developer Zoink Games revealed its new project today during the EA Play livestream: A coming-of-age tale about Even, a young girl with a big heart and an even bigger temper, called Lost in Random.

https://www.pcgamer.com/skate-4-announced/
At the end of today's EA Play Live event, the publisher announced that the Skate series is returning.
"We're back. We're doing it. Skate's happening," said creative director Cuz Parry. "We're rolling ... The Skate evolution continues."
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time leaked by Taiwan ratings board
https://www.pcgamer.com/crash-bandicoot-4-its-about-time-leaked-by-taiwan-ratings-board/
You can quit your nagging because there's going to be a new Crash Bandicoot game. According to a listing by the notoriously leaky Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time exists, and it's definitely coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As for PC, Activision has made a habit of releasing its Crash Bandicoot remasters on PC about a year after the console versions, so it'll probably come, just not straight away.
