I'm going to guess that, if that is ever implemented, it will be based mostly on how much €/$/£ we spend on the store, to show how loyal we are.

I sure hope it's retroactive instead of new purchases only. We will see how it works though.

Maybe they'll give us points or whatever based on how old is our account, the reviews we've done and things like that, but I doubt they'll do anything based on past purchases.

Asscreed Vikings is apparently gonna run in 4k 30 fps on the Series X

https://wccftech.com/ubisoft-confirms-assassins-creed-valhalla-running-at-4k30-on-xbox-series-x/

These consoles gonna have a fun time with 4k

It's as if I predicted that years ago. This really deserves its own thread. Let's watch console people go through the stages of grief.

1. Blame it on Xbox. PS5 will surely run it on 60fps with the power of SSD!

2. Blame it on the lazy/inexperienced developer because dem technologies be brand new yo.

3. Say that it'll probably must be for too huge and demanding games and everything else will run 60fps.

4. Say that 30fps really isn't that bad and that PC people are stupid for even demanding it.

Loll well I am not brave enough for that. I do wonder how the Ps5 is gonna perform if the most powerful console is gonna do 4k 30fps on a cross gen game...

Just going to say... I fucking called it. Years in advance before these consoles were even unveiled.

Soneone in CHina has got a hold of an Intel i9-10900K and has put in into test.

The Good news is that even after running AIDA64 FPU for 48 minutes it can sustain a 4.77GHz boost on all 10 cores.

The Bad news is that is does that using 235W and reaching 93º even with a 240mm AIO cooler.

Tuesday news:

SALES & DEALS

Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold 6.5 million copies, Resident Evil 3 Remake 2.5 million, Monster Hunter World over 15.5 million
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/resident-evil-2-remake-has-sold-6-5-million-copies-resident-evil-3-remake-2-5-million-monster-hunter-world-over-15-5-million/
Capcom has announced some new sales figures for its latest games. According to the Japanese company, Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold over 6.5 million copies, whereas Resident Evil 3 Remake has sold 2.5 million copies.
Furthermore, Monster Hunter World is still Capcom’s best selling game. The base game has sold over 15.5 million copies on all platforms. On the other hand, its expansion, Iceborne, has sold 5 million copies.
In other news, Capcom has also announced that it’s working on multiple major new titles. As the press release reads, Capcom plans to release 13 new SKUs. However, this does not mean that there are 13 games under development.

Steam Summer Sale dates have leaked
https://www.pcgamer.com/steam-sale-2020-date-leak/
Remember when Steam sale date leaks were a big deal? I don't, really. The dates for Steam sales have been leaking for so long and so far in advance that it seems like the natural order of things now: The start date floats to the surface somewhere, we tell you about it, Valve acts like it doesn't even notice, and then on the appointed day the sale kicks off, Steam becomes inaccessible for an hour, and then we spend the next week or so blowing all kind of money on cheap games.
It's both the natural order of things and my roundabout way of telling you the Steam Summer Sale dates have leaked. Again.
Pavel Djundik is one of the minds behind the Steam Database, a site known for occasionally leaking things happening on, or coming to, Steam. Last week, for instance, a SteamDB listing revealed that Yakuza: Like a Dragon is headed for PC. (The Steam listing is live now, by the way.) At least one other source cited the same dates, and June 25 is when the 2019 Summer Sale kicked off, so that tracks too.
>> You can mark it on your calendars now.

Steam has two new daily deal as well as a new range of weeklong deals:

MODS/EMULATORS

Grand Theft Auto 4 can look gorgeous in GTA5 Engine with Reshade Ray Tracing and mods
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/grand-theft-auto-4-can-look-gorgeous-in-gta5-engine-with-reshade-ray-tracing-and-mods/
Grand Theft Auto 5 came out on the PC in 2015. And, after five whole years, the game can still look great on the PC via a GTA5 mod. YouTube’s Digital Dreams has shared a video, showing GTA 4’s map in GTA 5 with Reshade Ray Tracing effects. Naturally, Digital Dreams has also used a mod in order to further improve the game’s visuals. And the results are absolutely amazing.
Now while GTA V looks awesome with these mods, there is a big issue here and that’s the awful pop-ins. In the following video, you will notice major pop-in issues with shadows and reflections. Apparently, the game does not load these effects in time, resulting in some awful issues. And while the game looks better than the vanilla version, these pop-in issues can be really distructing.
>> It looks impressive but, in my opinion, it has a bit too much bling.

Resident Evil Remake is getting a fan made remake on the Resident Evil 4 engine
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/resident-evil-remake-is-getting-a-fan-made-remake-on-the-resident-evil-4-engine/
In the last few years we have seen several remakes from Capcom. Most of these remakes were pretty good, and especially the Resident Evil 2 Remake which was phenomenal. Resident Evil 2 Remake is probably the best remake ever made by anyone.
A Youtube user, who goes by the nickname Mr. Curious, has created another remake of the first Resident Evil. The original Resident Evil was simply amazing, and the remake of that game was even better. Resident Evil Remake, is by far my favorite game in the whole series.
This fan made project is called Resident Evil Remix, and that’s because it simply mixes both games into one. Meaning the camera is over-the-shoulder; just like it is in Resident Evil 4. This means you are free to aim and shoot wherever you want.

New content pack adds numerous stages to the best free Mortal Kombat MUGEN game
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/new-content-pack-adds-numerous-stages-to-the-best-free-mortal-kombat-mugen-game/
Gui Santos has released a new content pack for the best free Mortal Kombat MUGEN game. This pack adds numerous stages to Mortal Kombat Project Ultimate Update 2019/2020. As such, we highly suggest downloading and installing it.
Going into more details, this content pack adds twenty new stages. Some of these stages are alternative versions of existing ones. For instance, this pack features new versions of the Pit from both Mortal Kombat 1 and Mortal Kombat 2. Now the good news is that both of these new versions have stage fatalities, something that will please all “kombatants” out there.
>> Here's the Mediafire link for this latest content pack. Check the article for the links to the game and other content packs.
