I played some Overwatch yesterday, and I ended up feeling a bit motion sick. I don't know how much of that was from withdrawals of me forgetting to take my meds, or if it was something that would have occurred either way, but I do think that 'll have to adjust to the joltiness of using mouselook over an analogue stick.

Overwatch tends to be extremely frantic, so I am not surprised some people have issue with it from a motion sickness point of view.

I would go with the AMD A6 then if that's the case.
The others being second hand probably means warranty might be an issue if you do have a hardware fault later?

By law, they have to give a 1 year warranty. But it will be harder to convince my fater to get an used one instead of a new one .

Similar laws exist here, consumer protections are great.
I would still personally opt for something new than second hand, but that could be the OCD talking.

^Your meds? Is that a joke or are you really under treatment?

No, it's true, I take medication but it has pretty severe withdrawals when I forget to take them, I'm wondering if that was why I felt sick, or if the games had something to do with it.

Yep, those kinds of laws are great for us, consumers.

And I told my father about the used ones, but he said no. He prefers something new "just in case". I don't blame him.

Well, that sucks.

I'm very prone to motion sickness, specially with FPS that rely on fast movements. I'm still going on with Return to Castle Wolfenstein (or I will after I finish another games I was halfwayh in) because I changed the settings to walk instead of run. That and me being smart enough to not make fast turns really helped a lot. i wish I could do something similar with Mirror's Edge, but in that game you have to move fast...

Friday news, part two:

Spiderweb Software's first-ever Kickstarter is already a big success
https://www.pcgamer.com/spiderweb-softwares-first-ever-kickstarter-is-already-a-big-success/
Spiderweb Software boss and old-school RPG maker of the first order Jeff Vogel has never previously crowdfunded a game, but he said in a 2016 interview that he was going to give it a try—in two or three years. Not quite two years down the road, he's kept his word with a Kickstarter for Queen's Wish: The Conqueror, and just one day after the campaign began it's already blown well past its goal.

Conquer a robot dystopia in cute card battler Insane Robots
https://www.pcgamer.com/conquer-a-robot-dystopia-in-cute-card-battler-insane-robots/
Playniac insists Insane Robots is not a card game. It's a card battler, meaning its cards are just weapons and strategic tools, not items to be collected. It doesn't have "costly expansions or time-consuming customization," the studio says. You pick a robot, build a deck that matches their abilities, and get right down to throwing rectangles at each other like the robot god intended. Not only that, it evolved from a prototype of a board game, so genetically it's probably closer to a deck builder like Dominion than a CCG like Hearthstone.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends has a new developer, client update in the works
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-elder-scrolls-legends-has-a-new-developer-client-update-in-the-works/
Some big changes are coming to Bethesda's digital CCG The Elder Scrolls: Legends, beginning with the team that makes it. The publisher told IGN that developer Dire Wolf Digital is being moved off the game, which will be taken over by Sparkypants Studios, the developer of the 15-minute RTS Dropzone.

Destiny 2's big September expansion will be revealed next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2s-big-september-expansion-will-be-revealed-next-week/
September will be a big month for Destiny 2, as it will see the beginning of Year 2, with new features including Gear Collections, Records, weapon slot changes and randomization, new modes, and more—"Yet to be revealed," as the recent development roadmap update put it. Today Bungie announced that the promised reveal will take place next week, during a livestream set for 9 am PT/12 pm ET on June 5.

Paradox CEO 'would love to' make a baseball management game
https://www.pcgamer.com/paradox-ceo-would-love-to-make-a-baseball-management-game/
Football Manager's wealth of stats, figures and tactics make it one of my favourite strategy games. I'm into sports in real life, granted, but I'd argue the strategy trappings found in sports management sims can be enjoyed by all fans of the genre.
This is something Paradox CEO Fred Wester says he and his team have considered in the past. For his money, there's more mileage in baseball management sims.

BlazBlue dev combats spoilers with 'non-negotiable' streaming guidelines
https://www.pcgamer.com/blazblue-dev-combats-spoilers-with-non-negotiable-streaming-guidelines/
No one likes spoilers. Social media blabbermouths, poorly flagged op-eps, unfiltered streamers—steering clear of party poopers in the wake of new releases can be difficult. With the latter in mind, Japanese developer Arc System Works has announced new streaming restrictions, in tandem with the launch of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.

Time to check the weekend deals from GOG and (the remaining ones from) Steam:

+GOG

+Steam
There's nothing much to say after the articles you've seen in the first post, but there are still some deals to talk about:

And that's all. Have a happy and gaming weekend.
