I have never understood how people can become so distraught over what faceless people on this site say. I can understand finding users annoying or irritating, but no further than that. The idea of experiencing any level of emotional pain because of a forum is frankly absurd to me. There's no reason to lose control over someone who has no affect on your real life. If someone really is being extremely agitating, then I can usually disregard what they say as bullshit.

And if I really wanted to, I could find some genuine entertainment in the more extreme users on here. The moment I realize someone isn't even trying to be reasonable, I stop taking the person seriously. I see no reason to let this site cause me any pain. I come here to improve my emotional welfare if possible, not to harm it.

Don't take this site too seriously.

EDIT: I do, however, believe that reading too many posts on here in one sitting can cause symptoms of ADD.

Around the Network

Social skills is not abundant for some users around here. Couple that with rampant immaturity and lack of respect to other users as the reason that lots of threads get derailed here.
I think some people still need to avoid unnecessary verbal confrontations and others to learn to let go of trivial stupidity.

I like to think I have caused emotional and mental harm to other users on this site..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

You can always become a bit emotional attached to the site, overall. Or to the people. There's cool people you apreciate, and like to talk to here, but then somethimes things get loose in a thread, and you get involved somehow. It gets you, wheter you want it or not.

I will admit that the Sony fanbase do stress me out a lot because they troll everything MS and Nintendo on this site. For some stupid reason they bother me that much. I can't be a Sony supporter like I use to be back in the days.

I used to get angry quite easily, though not anymore. Looking back at my early posts on this site is just cringe worthy.

Ive found it best, that when someone tries to piss you off you just play them at their own game. It drives them crazy and they look the fool and/or get moderated. It helps that the site isnt really big and everyone knows eachother. You learn peoples traits and what people do. Trolls, Negative Nellies, wind up merchants. They make it so easy and its actually quite fun.

But that goes for every fanbase on every article. So it goes all 3 ways to be honest.

On Topic:

I have come to realize that forums are not just for everyone because people get WAY to emotional and serious JUST because people have a different OPINION than them. That baffels my mind...like what's wrong with people feeling different about something then you? Ahhhhh that's the internet for you I guess.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

In that case, Sony really needs a new king. (Sounds like a job for a princess!)

Badgenome's presence here causes me great emotional harm between his abandonment of me after giving birth to me to his constant neglect after seeing me again.

Former something....
