How? It is not how, but if...

You feeling betrayed is an emotion. If you can rationalize it so you no longer feel betrayed that is fine, but you will not get over it until you are (If you ever are) emotionally ready to. There is no process you can follow unfortunately.

All I can reccommend is that you put yourself in her shoes and try to see everything that happened from her perspective. If you still feel betrayed, then I am sorry because you were....
